I appreciate your videos alot. You're like the only one who actually tells us how to get said weapon. So many people make videos on guns but never say how to get them.
Thank you so much for your kind words , I appreciate your support and considering to check out my videos 😊 yeah I always feel it's kinda pointless to point out how great a weapon is unless you can share with people on how they can also get it. Sometimes they can be easy to find and sometimes they can take a bit of time and effort to obtain but regardless of that it's always important to showcase how to find them 🤘🏻 I hope you have fun with the plasma caster as much I did 🤩
This look pretty nice. Im gonna give it a try out. Its been a while since i used vats with power armour, and from what i remember, it burned through power cores pretty fast. Definitely going to need the faster fire rate with this.
Thanks for checking out the video ! I'm delighted this video has inspired you to try out the plasma caster 😊 I will agree that using vats with power armor definitely drains your fusion cores but there's always ways to farm fusion cores and even craft them if you have the flux 😊
You didn't try the calibrated receiver with a full crit build - DPS beats the prime receiver since they nerfed it and you can get it even higher with the crit buff foods
Since the update where science perks can influence damage output for energy weapons, the science perks could possibly be viable for this build! I'd recommend swapping out perks you don't like and allocate those points into the intelligence section and equip the science perks and see if it works with it 😊
I have recently unlocked this weapon, the problem is, i dont use bloodied or PA build. any tips for heavy gunner, NO PA, full health build. so far my caster isn't killing enemies as efficiently as I thought it would. thanks
Bought the plan few months ago, created my first Plasma Caster, upgraded it to 3-star and it immediately rolled: Bloodied, weapon speed, reload speed. Named it "P94 Turbo Plasma Rifle" and has been my favorite ever since. Finish the drip with a modded set of X-01
You can find all of the plans for receivers and barrels if you go to regs in vault 79 and purchase the plans from him. You will need to have completed the wastelanders storyline before you can gain access to regs and his inventory, however you can get lucky and find the plans available via Minerva, the travelling vendor who appears at different locations such as the settlers base, the crater and other locations at a discounted price. She's currently at the whitesprings resort however she does move around and is only available for a certain amount of days. You can find a helpful website that shows where she's at here -> www.whereisminerva.com/
I got one with quad effect.. it is definetly really nice as 20 ammo capacity seems as a lot but it can be too little at times for sure, it is wonderful weapon
trying out this build on a b50c90 plasma caster, only thing im not feeling positive about is the vats hit chance, you have to be somewhat near to the target to make the weapon consistently good, and also without -25% vat cost legendary, it could be pain in the ass to wait for regen between shots
Love plasma casters , very versatile weapon that's decent even with no heavy gunner cards. I use it on the queen and earl mainly ( and for them i insert 3 heavy gunner cards and one gun army ) , but it's also good in most situations, i even favorited it and i lotterally go around with hundreds of weapons
The easiest way to get mods for the weapon is to purchase them from regs at Vault 79 up at the top right hand corner of the map, however you will need to finish the wastelanders storyline to be able to use regs as a vendor. Sometimes you can also get the plans from minerva whenever she's in town however don't quote me on that as I might be wrong.
Love my bloodied crit hit +250 DR plasma caster. It's my main weapon. And I use it out of PA since it hit so hard. One shot's almost anything but bosses. My build is only different in that I push the crit hit side of it more and run with Glow Sight and Exterminator maxed out. Plasma Casters are really made for VATS. Oh and need to stress its an ammo sipper. Always get more ammo than I use. Hve 25K in the 1st ammo locker and keep getting more. Never need to craft ammo for this beast of a weapon
New sub for sure (even though I know about the power of this weapon) ;) - great way to structure the video, nice soundtrack when the fire started. All in all good work mate! Keep it up
Thank you so much for your kind words and your awesome support, I really appreciate it and thank you for considering to check out the video! 😊 The plasma caster has always been a video I've wanted to do for a long time but never got around to it until now. I've been a big fan of plasma casters in the fallout games so it's awesome to finally give it some time in the spotlight 🤘🏻
Idk if there’s a place to give Bethesda suggestions but if there is can someone suggest Bethesda to include a conversation ratio for Aristocrat’s bonus
There's always a place for suggestions but I'd say you're best bet to get somebody at Bethesda to see it as soon as possible , is to join their Discord and log your feedback in their suggestions channel under the Fallout 76 category 😊 They have admins and moderators there who work at Bethesda who check those channels 🤘🏻
Recently rolled an AA, 50 hit chance, -25% Ap cost caster and in power armor nerd rage build. With 19 luck, crit savvy and better criticals I would crit earl for over 1600 damage every 3rd shot. No stealth so no covert operative or follow through. Just stabalized and calibrated reciever for +100% crit damage wich outperforms prime if you go crit. 1 in concentrated fire for headshots and overdrive, phychobuff for damage and blight soup for more crit. It way outperformed prime reciever and would hit regular ads for as much as 2700+ damage. With 286 ap at 21 per shot in vats i could pop just 1 or 2 canned coffee and go through a whole clip. Took just 2 to 3 minutes to kill earl and maybe 10 or so canned coffee. Recharge ap while reloading of course.
@@francescabeltrami-ui7ct hard to get 23 luck in power armor. Possible with challies feed and camp luck. I dont count bobbles or magazines as ther unreliable without trading or duping. AP would cost 30 vats per shot and you could only get 9 shots instead of 13 and need would need more coffee. Either way that 4 crits with the 287 ap I have. Crits only important for bosses and all adds still go down with 1 or 2 shots at most except for the bigger ones at 100 lvl. For nuke bosses you are correct though. 50 crit and crit bar recharge would be faster. My main point was that calibrated reciever on a build for crits outperforms prime reciever by a large margin whether you crit every 2nd or 3rd shot. And no only bloodied or another AA caster would outperform the one I mentioned
@@francescabeltrami-ui7ct yeah I recently switched from bloody unyielding stealth commando to power armor nerd rage heavy build so I'm still working on my armor pieces. This seems more reliable as camp bonus is short and gets removed if you die. Still it's the most fun I've had in awhile and I was pleasantly surprised I could solo a nuke boss so fast
Well you're in luck because I actually made a video on that specific build roughly 6 months ago showcasing the nuka launcher and the peacemaker , which showcase both weapons and the exact build you're looking for 😊➡️ ruclips.net/video/lp28zDgbE9E/видео.html ⬅️ However if you prefer you can also check out my explosive build guide which focuses more on explosive weapons in general which you can find here ➡️ ruclips.net/video/fN7GBpIvT-Q/видео.html ⬅️
Since I lost all my legacy weapons, I've went from a full health build, to bloodied. I have a bloodied Plasma Caster, with ap regen, and faster reload speed. I'm doing anywhere from 1,000~2,200 head shot damage. I've tried a junkie build, but it's just meh... All 3 of my characters, Heavy Gun, Rifleman, and pistol builds, are all bloodied. My Rifleman uses Enclave and Fixer riffles, and my pistol build uses Enclave and BOS pistols, as well as The Fact Finder, LOL!
Gat Plasmas are still perfectly viable. Get an FFR25V, avoid 15r at all costs. Those are perfectly viable in and out of VATs. Chug 10-15 canned coffees for bosses. With a crit build you'll be doing insane DPS, think the damage of a rail/handmade but the fire rate and ammo cap of a heavy gun. Legacies were fun but this is fun too!
You eventually will, try getting the egghead mutations and a full unyelding set, it took me like 2 months and half to geto like pv 500 knowing what i do
