I have launched a nuke but I've had my character when the beta was a thing and broke it for me and I don't want to go do the campaign on a new character
Joining the Enclave is mandatory to the main story and cant be skipped . I appreciate you making a walkthrough for folks who might get stuck in some places. 10/10
If you want to finish all of the missions, yes. But, you can ignore the enclave all together and still do the vault 79 gold heist and unlock vault 79 so not really that mandatory. I only did them so I could launch the nukes.
I mean from how MODUS acts it’s almost like he has Zero interest in the old enclave and just wants to know everything, the man could easily go launch a nuke but he just doesn’t I’m fairly sure modus only goal is to make white springs as decked out as possible
The Institute and the Enclave genuinly had good points its a shame that in what will most likely end up being "Canon" is both of them being eliminated without a second thought id really like to see both of them as a joinable faction (and maybe even being allies/being able to coexsist together) in a future fallout game
Fallout canon could explore factions like BOS and En forever, they're an integral part to the lore. As well the great game referred to in point lookout. They could literally make a game with multiple wastelands (fallout 3, new Vegas and all dlc, fallout 4 all remastered) and we'd likely buy in. Remastered and expanded? They could also make original maps bigger, more stuff and content and most would be happy. Same with oblivion and Skyrim
@@ryan7102 I see the appeal but I thought just as an example that Ceasars legion was a bit, well lame. Take the 4 fallouts, remake them all together with a fast travel system to each game world

I would love it if Bethesda would make every Power Armor paint available for all Power Armor's. I would love to be able to put the Inferno Mk III paint on the Excavator Power Armor.
Just got back into 76 with a group of friends on a private server. The only think I hate about fallout is how damn slow the game is, early to mid game is just a huge pain but end game is where the fun is at but leveling up sometimes takes a while. But it's still fun
It's those slow loading screens between instances even with a NVnE PCIe SSD. Seriously why should a loading screen last more than 5 seconds for opening a door
Dude I love lengthy videos and you get into the nitty gritty. I love it. I was an early adopter for fallout 76 and stoped playing a few months after release. I feel like a comparison video that takes the features that has been added and changed from launch would be great and you would explain things throughly ! Just a thought but it would be dope
Since the game came out I always felt like launching a nuke was something that was gonna be so hard but just the other day, on a level 112 stealth sniper build with a 3 star gauss rifle I managed to do it solo
I installed fo76 and instantly joined the enclave not even knowing it was essential to the main story or required to launch a nuke but because I love the enclave

Would have been nice if there was a reference somewhere to "President Eden" from Fallout 3, where there could be some sort of file designated "Project Eden" or something along those lines hinting at the enclave's attempts to us an AI to masquerade as the President of the US, while also connecting MODUS to President Eden and implying that President Eden may have started off as an Enclave project being undertaken in Appalachia, particularly with the prevalence of robots within the Whitespring Bunker.
I'm past level 315 & I've still not launched a nuke (been playing FO76 since the beta). Came very close once a long time ago; two buddies & I were on a team & we got super close, but another team was in there & (we didn't realize non-PVP was a thing) they killed us right before we could launch it, so it put me off that damned quest & I haven't tried since. Maybe now that I'm up enough levels I'll give it a shot again (but will probably wait for a group, not solo).
We should have the option to recruit and fill the bunker and open those doors in the resort and go to the fourth floor and those robots should be passive after we pass through the bunkers the first time and the executive room needs to be unlocked.
I'm definitely one of those people who've had the game since launch and still haven't launched a nuke lol but now I have a couple new friends just starting out so it'll finally get done lol

Took me over 5 and a half hours to get through my first silo. Did it solo and the objectives markers was broken. At the end I messed up putting in the code and lost my only Key Card. Had to message random people to ask for help. Took them about 30-45 minutes to get to me.
@@BadAssSykO really?!?! What level? On ps4 I can finish the bunker in about 20 min solo, then another 10ish for the launch prep to finnish. If I use the door glitch to skip the rad room and the room w/the nuka-world cores I can launch a nuke in 15-20 tops..
I would love it if @Bethesda would add more weapon paints that change the shape of the gun. For example the screaming eagle paints for the handmade is awesome. Would love to see more modern looking weapon paints. Like some New Vegas unique weapons maybe?? Some ideas, I don't even know if they look at comments lol.
Funnily, I was on the quest to launch a nuke but hadn't planned on doing it anytime soon. I randomly happened to have someone on my team do it and it counted for me. Completed the quest, got the achievement, but it didn't count for the in game challenge to launch a nuke.
I have 6 characters and I only went through the process of launching a nuke once. All the other times I was on a team with a random player who launched a nuke and I Am Death auto completed for me.
I finally launched my first nuke yesterday solo lvl 77 been playing for about 2 weeks and been enjoying so far but my 4th attempt to launch a nuke got ruined by someone who joined my team and done it first and completed my quest before I got past the second laser grid was gutted so I found a new server and proceeded to launch 2 back to back was a good time 😊
Imo either the enclave or the ncr are the only factions you should join because the brotherhood literally rejects the idea of technological advancement post apocalypse and hoard it to themselves
Kind of shocking that I apparently failed the test by choosing salad fork instead of oyster fork and I did choose "Other". My guy was a secret agent prior to The Great War. Modus didn't help me on the next part of the quest and he said "You can prove your worth in other ways".
After 5 years returning back and the game has changed a bit, I no longer have access to the command wing. LOL Thanks to the npc reworked. Now I have to do it all over again 😅 well starting from Officer on deck quest. Nice!
I'd say part of the issue is that a lot of people bought the game and never really played it or didn't get serious enough to go for the enclave 10% of players on PS4 have launched a nuke 19% completed bunker buster 87% actually left the vault and played the game at all and 67% completed first contact 15% have completed scorched earth 7% have reached level 100 18% reached level 50 50% reached level 10 Nearly 17% have completed the elusive crane quest 4.2% have completed buried treasure 2.7% completed the catalyst quest from steel reign So I think it's a safe bet that there there just isn't enough serious players
Their fault. Games quite an enjoyment. Sure, launch was very shoddy and weapons were super cheese, but these things get balanced out, especially by Bethesda. They have such a good track record with updating games and making meaningful changes.

I’m a brotherhood of steel person but I also think the Enclave is cool too just wish there was actual Enclave soldiers that would patrol around and u could come across the BOS fighting the Enclave and stuff because the way they have it in FO76 with just the robots and some Psycho AI is kinda trash

It's the unique rocket launcher called the Bunker Buster. We get it after completing 'One of Us' Enclave quest. We review, and show getting it from the quest starting at around 28:03 in this video. Hope this helps!
i found this quest by accident.. i saw the leevator and when I entered it .. the quest triggered... I di not find the agent.. so the video helped a lot
It says i have 10/10 promotion commodations but its just staying like that, i cant go into the command room and stuff (i have done everything i needed)

This is one of the most fun memorable quests imo. The satisfaction of launching a successful nuke was great fun.

@@CharlesVanexX wouldnt recommend but you can try. I personally was able to do it at level 45. Used a lot of stimpaks but I managed to do it solo

I did it for my first time today, level 77 with an anti-armor gatling gun, power armor build. It was tedious but it was worth it in the end!

I always join the enclave first in all of my plays because it helps with so many things launching nukes entering bunkers and a couple other things

Use the power armour skip to get to the launch room and just find the code on nukacrypt.
It's very easy to do it solo. I been doing it since level 90 or so by myself.

No downsides that I’ve seen. This quest is set up to give you end game content.

It took me several tries to launch a nuke since I had to do it alone (no friends). Did the achievement, never did it again. That was a year ago

This was 2 and a half years ago. I was like level 53 at the time.

I did the grind and made it all the way and just as I cleared the enemies another player showed up and launched a nuke.

To be fair, apart from Raiders/Foundation, factions aren't really a choice in 76, they're mandatory to doing the content.
I've seen a lot of players (even higher level) whom the robots at Watoga are hostile toward, which means that they never did the quest to become mayor

I Never had the military uniform, and the sergeant Gutsy’s rant about uniforms reminded me of SGT Dornan.

I love The Enclave you can’t always beat the old Pre-War United States Government, I got to Join my Favorite them at Level 8.
