That early primal miscast was brutal! A tough way to go, for sure. Took it like a champ tho.
Thanks for being a standup player Zack! I really respect players that still remain positive after a devastating early turn. A lot of people would be salty but you handled it like a champ.
Adding a 4+ spell ignore on the big dragons would be a nice addition. I do not think that would make them overpowered in any way, and for 500 points, having some spell defense, like the Storm Drakes, makes sense--narratively and for gameplay. That probably won't happen, though. It will be interesting to see how their scrolls are rewritten for 4th!
I can't wait for the big dragon warscrolls in 4th! I hope they finally make them really good.

New player here, can you run a similar stormcast list but with dracolines instead of the cavalry that was used in this game?
You need to have 3 battleline units. The Dracolines can't be consodered battlelines so you need to use 3 other cheap units to fill that role. Ah moreveor that unit will be parked with the next edition so I don't suggest to invest in them XD
@@Strade8that’s not completely correct, with stormforge ‘draconith skywing’ stormdrakes are considered battleline.

Zero reason to primal miscast turn 1. Especially since you are MoM and can just reroll.... the SCE list kinda just feels like a meme list tbh. No real screens or ways to just score battle tactics easy.

I'm not super familiar with the sylvaeneth. Around 17m you strike and fade with Alarielle, but i thought you had to slay at least one model with her, to be eligible for strike and fade?
The rule is written weird.
They don’t have to have destroyed any models, they just teleport away after the step of combat where models would be removed if any HAD been destroyed.
It’s important because it means your Strike and Fader is in combat during “fights on death” abilities because the enemy models haven’t been removed yet.

man that primal miscast was a pretty huge misplay, the spell had gone off anyways so i don't really see why he used a primal there
just to make it harder to dispell I guess.. for what I have seen noone risk a primal after a 1 is on the table unless is a super important spell. It looks like is his first time being burn by a primal miscast, you have that once and than you learn : )

how is it possible that all stormcast players can't make a decent list? my god they all suck!
to his defense his dice rolls were pretty unlucky. I think the list is pretty solid. Stormcasts are in general a lil harder to play.
@@TheEase1 sure dice were bad but 3 units of fulminators who all need to charge and activate first combined with 2 big dragons and a wizard that primal miscast without any pressure or need for it - no screens, minimal primary power...that's just a very strange list...
@@kalestu_ I think it's a hard hitting list if it gets through. Kinda like a khorne army play style. I myself play a Karazai, but also with a support praetor unit to snack some wounds. I don't have fulminators but I know then can smack very good. Maybe the two big dragons need a lil too many points there, but krondys went very early unfortunately for him. I would like to see this list again and imagine it a lil stronger. maybe I'm wrong, I really like 6er annilators, they can do so much damage and also defend really good.
The stormcast lists on almost every batrep are really shite. I have started to believe they just want to troll or get paid to make SCE look bad.
Frankly this list looks like it gets tabled turn one by ironjawz. Worse it looks like it gets rolled by DoK and that is just shameful
