All the fragments are beautiful, I highlight Shani's Prokofiev, Argerich's teaching, the new air of the girl Alexandra Dogvan, the solid lyricism of Helene Grimaud in Liszt, the poetry of Horowitz in Scriabin, the essential Chopin of Rubinstein, the clarity and firmness of Lortie in Chopin, the idiom of Bertrand Chamayou, and some will escape me, but it's good to see so many young performers raising a serious artistic flag.
Grains of the sound that MaoFujita's nocturne accumulate in the depths of the heart and grab us…but his music is infinite freedom.I'm deeply grateful for this project🎹♪✨PIANO is Orchestra and singer🎼💐
Wow. Goosebumps overall. The first piece (Chopins Nocturne No. 20) is well-known from the movie "The Pianist", and Adrien Brody won an Oscar for it. Its the best Anti-War movie. In my opinion a little bit better than "Schindler". Wonderful music.
Schumann said a lot of pianists he saw and heard play were geniuses, I think he was just very emotional and expressionate in the moment - not basing his momentary truth on the absolute eternety that is and was his life. Chopin practised a lot and was able to paint his creativeness within each note he played and subsequently wrote down on parchment for other humans to enjoy. His parisian next door neighbor, Alkan, was also a master at the piano - some say a genius.
@@LeRainbow Chopin was not a genius piano player (has not the "power" as other), but he has the power as a composer Schumann said "Ladies and gentlemen, hats of - a genius". Both Schumann and Chopin try to be a virtuoso pianist, and thanks they didn't.
Hi! Lucas Debargue is playing on the Opus 102 by Stephen Paulello! This marvel boasts 102 keys, 14 more than a traditional piano, giving it a truly singular harmonic palette and what Debargue calls an "infinite" dynamic range-in his words, it is a piano that "will never be out of fashion… it will naturally make its way among the legendary instruments and inspire many generations of musicians and music lovers." You can watch the full concert at www.medici.tv/concerts/lucas-debargue-recital-paris-2022 Enjoy!
@@bloodgrss Gould is in the top 10 pianists of every classical periodical. You have Giles, Horowitz, Rubinstein and Weisenberg. You should have Gould. Not an obsession just a simple observation.
@@glenngouldification My heavens, Gould would certainly be in the top 10 of Bach pianists, but could be wildly eccentric with other repertoire. And others even in the modern world rival his Bach, Andras Schiff and Murray Perahia just to name two. "Every" periodical certainly does not uniformly name him always in such top 10's. I like much of Gould's play, admire his musical intellect, and his CBC shows are still marvelous, but let's not overstate the case. Even a 'fan' needs some totality of appraisal...

I'm THRILLED they included Lucas Debargue... and playing the Bach Lilian Concerto... !
