  • Sprouts chilla is a nutritious and delicious Indian pancake made primarily with sprouts, typically moong (mung bean) sprouts, and a few other ingredients. Here’s a basic recipe to make sprouts chilla:
    Ingredients:
    - 1 cup moong and chana sprouts
    - 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
    - 1 medium sized onion, finely chopped
    - 1 small carrot, finely chopped
    - 1 small capsicum, finely chopped
    - few curry leaves
    - 1 green chilli finely chopped (optional)
    - 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds(optional)
    - Salt to taste
    - Water as needed
    - Oil for cooking
    - Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Batter:
    - Grind the moong and chana sprouts to a coarse paste using a little water if necessary.
    - In a mixing bowl, combine the sprout paste, gram flour, chopped vegetables green chili, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
    - Add water gradually to make a smooth, flowing batter similar to pancake batter consistency.
    2. Cook the Chilla:
    - Heat a non-stick pan or a griddle on medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
    - Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it gently in a circular motion to form a thin pancake.
    - Drizzle a few drops of oil around the edges and cook until the bottom side turns golden brown.
    - Flip the chilla and cook the other side until it’s also golden brown and cooked through.
    3. Serve:
    - Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
    - Serve hot with chutney, yogurt, or any side dish of your choice.
