The problem is that current Star Wars has strayed so far from what Star Wars was that it isn't Star Wars anymore. People balk at what is shown that is called Star Wars but isn't. This series would be a 'fine' or 'okay' new production but nothing more.
The critics don't pay the studios bills. The audience does. They aren't lapping up these inane woke statements masquerading as entertainment anymore. Enough is enough. We're tired of having this stuff constantly shoved in our faces.
No Star Wars had all British actors because George filmed in UK because it was cheaper and if you make a movie there you have to use mostly local talent
I totally blanked on Dooku during the review you're right. Ahsoka seems more in like with Osha where it was heavily suggested haha. Yeah the eps give me no reason to look forward to the next week
Nice, balanced review. I am an older original movies fanatic (and I even tolerated the prequels - though midiclorians were ridiculous) who has been saddened by the basic lack of quality writing, character building, and world building in all but a couple of the Disney projects. I have no problem with the lack of white folks like me, if Disney wants to make Star Wars a much more female branded franchise, that's cool. Disney are the owners of the brand now. They can do what they want. It doesn't excuse making badly written shows. I watched the first two episodes and just found myself wondering how a team of writers could come up with the dialogue and decision making that takes place. Disney obviously spent a lot of money making everything look great. Pity they aren't willing to employ writers with ability.
The hate is based so much on the lgbt issue, and it doesn’t deserve that, because getting rid of gay characters won’t make it better, the show is badly written, but the fight scenes are cool. Book of boba fett is definitely worse
idk I’m enjoying it, seems like everyone is just jumping on the hate wagon to me. It’s not perfect (the fire scene was really dumb) but everything else has been pretty well done. It’s very prequel-esque and everyone hated those at first too. y’all seem to be giving it a fair shot even if the things you critiqued didn’t bother me I can see where your coming from.
I've been in love with Star Wars for at least 34 years. I'm over it. The show runners and actors make it very clear that this is not for white or straight people, so I won't be watching.
Simple because most audience's hate everything nowadays. Even if they do like it they'll still hate it just because. Im liking the show so far im not over the top like "omg its the best" but i like it.
It is mostly becouse it has strayed so far from the source material that it just isn't what it says it is. What is shown is so far from Star Wars that it yes people do hate it. If the series was called something else not Star Wars it would perform like you say. Slightly okay.
Don't need to watch the video. The answer is as old as the Tomatometer itself. Review bombing. When you have more negative reviews than subscribers to Disney+, it's pretty obvious.
I mean.... you can't really say that audiences "hate" it when the audience score was reflective of people who had never even seen it since the reviewing bombing happened before it even came out.
Why Do Audiences HATE it? Bro, WHY WOULD THEY LIKE IT?
I neither hate it nor like it - I feel nothing - which is the worst thing you can really say about any form of entertainment.
Space Fights!

Why did they bring in trinity only to kill her, wasted.
There's always a chance she's the sith in the helmet and voice changer I guess. Dying from a knife seems a bit soft in universe.
@@burgunbeerd I hope they do something, anything with her.
@@sauronluna3669 it seems like the only reasonable thing which is also a bit too obvious? Idunno
Same though, I pray they do something interesting

Who remembers 'The Sisterhood Of The Ya-Ya Traveling Pants?' That's how I felt when they chanted about the 'Power Of Two.'
Killed the best actress in the first few minutes - Trinity in Star Wars

Storyline full of holes and the acting is god awful!
Race and gender doesn't matter just be good
and it's not
There’s two episodes out, you haven’t even seen the writing of the full story. Obvi things are gonna be mysterious as of rn.
@@DeeDeeDeeeee No one needs to see the full story to see how awful the writing it. That's a ridiculous statement.
@@DeeDeeDeeeee If there's only 8 episodes in a series, you should not be uninvested 2 episodes in. That's a sign of bad writing.
Osha was the bad twin, she started the fire.
Markos back! The bride returns
His planet needed him!

The wookie ending would have been awesome!!!🤔😳😎 21:41

Dooku and Asohka left the order voluntarily, looks like it's an accepted thing.
Also the episodes end too abruptly I've found.
I totally blanked on Dooku during the review you're right. Ahsoka seems more in like with Osha where it was heavily suggested haha.

The forces itself is omnipotent but the force users power of it is dependent on their skills and connection to the force.

Dropping two epidsodes hopefully create reasonable viewing minutes to report.

I def do not miss 20+ episode seasons. That's pure rose tinted glasses. There was so much aimless filler in shows like Lost and 24.
I'm an audience and I like it. Stop generalizing.
I enjoyed the Acolyte. Intriguing story and great worlds.
Surprised people even still watch star wars. That franchise has been dead to me since the force awakens
I've been in love with Star Wars for at least 34 years. I'm over it. The show runners and actors make it very clear that this is not for white or straight people, so I won't be watching.
Marko's back!!. love the takes, hate the show!! :(
nobody actually watched the show, one sided is rating it 10/10 and the other is giving it a 0/10 without any of them watching it

The show is mid so most people leave a bad review some review bomb it and the critics are to high on the show because there payed to do so
Nonsense, of course.
oh and by the way ..don't try a work out who the sith is ...its carrie Anne. 😂😂😂 ...
Just another in the seemingly endless barrage of female protagonist stories by WOKE Disney. The shit is really getting old.

Kenobo had an 85 critic wise so im inclined to believe audience
Suddenly people are taking review scores into account when they dismissed them before.
