L Arginine for ED, Pre Workout, Blood Pressure -------
Pumpkin seeds have one of the highest concentrations of arginine. One cup of dried pumpkin seeds contains 6.905 grams of the amino acid. Other seeds with a high amount of arginine include watermelon, sesame, and sunflower seeds. Dairy products such as milk, yogurt, and cheese are all sources of arginine.
I blend the a mixture of beets, pomergranite, Lime, Ginger root and celery. I drink 2 glass of that a day
L-citrulline does the trick without stomach discomfort of L-Arginine..

Aww man.. They tell us heart disease is related to poor oral hygiene.. I've been vigorously mouth washing and peroxide based toothpaste brushing. Thank you for the information. Your videos are awesome. Thanks
Poor oral hygiene is a symptom of potential heart disease, particularly if your gums bleed when brushing your teeth.
I love this channel! Your demeanor and delivery of your content is so encouraging!
Citrulline works, but what works best is a strength-training workout.
Great information, thank you!
L-Citrulline works way better for me than arginine
I've used Arginine and i have been happy with the results. After reading your post, I think I will give Citrulline a try and see how it compares.

I will confess that having a female doctor would “intimidate” me, that being said you are someone I could talk to, learn from, and converse with.
Please! Most of our onsite school doctors (elementary, middle school, and high school) were women. During middle school every male had to undergo a complete physical each year and that involved dressing down to underwear, and we were even examined with the cough test while the doctor examined below. It wasn't an issue even back then while being a male teenager.
The greatest piece of information I have come across in a long while..pls can you recommend Probiotics to you to boost Nitrate...and the veggies to take too that has Nitrate
Thank you for your information. Hopefully it will help with BHP.
Highly informative content. Thanks
How many milligrams of beet root do you recommend? I ordered a beet root supplement that are 1400 milligrams a pill.
Excellent presentation.
Question: Are oral/dental probiotic lozenges beneficial for repopulating the mouth, throat and upper respiratory region with beneficial bacteria?
Glad you told me to stop using Argeline. I'm stopping now.

This got me off the L Arginine even though I would only take it twice a week. Thanks doctor.

L arginine and L ornithine supplement is great for lean body mass, blood flow and aids with chronic stress levels. It is a safe alternative for a great pre workout supplement rather than a caffeine enhancer.
Not if yer 60 or 70. , One size does not fit all. At my age I use oral NO lozenge and Cialis,

Hi Dr. Ross, I love your videos I've learned so much as far as men's health is concerned. I am 70 years old and in good shape for my age. I get some exercise (steps in at work), I have a pretty good diet and I take some supplements. My question is about l citrulline, I take a small amount (less than recommended) every day, could speak more on its use.
how about L. Citrulline ??
Neo 40 is a good product with beetroot, hawthorne and a little L Citrulline Smoothies contain too much sugar for me. I need to keep ny A1C low.
very well placed advise ..thank you ..but what about all of us (47 yoa) who workout (full weight lift )5 days per week ...but keep out dietery programm to the letter .?
What about hydrogen peroxide rather than mouth wash?
I'm glad I seen this video. I just seen another video about two days ago that said to use both and I'm pretty sure it was her video. I'm 53 so I guess I won't be taking the L Arginine
Thanks for the warning, Doctor. I wonder why they jumped the dises I p to a gram of l arginine. My health food stire doesnt sell it anymore. I will turn to the beet priducts
I take beet root extract and L citrulline.
Frequent fasting takes care of all of those issues, been doing alternate day fasting for about 12 years now, I’m 50 and my workout partner is 26 and still kick his ass, honestly is best thing a person can do is to fast and eat right on eating days
You fast every other day? That awesome. I fast too but never alternate day, maybe I'll try. Are you on a specific diet or just hitting all the macros, etc when u eat?
eat, stop, eat has changed my life, health wise and $$ wise
Dear Dr Rachael. Much appreciation for you. I am a heart patient and was guided much by Dr. Cadwell Esselsyn who didn't want me to use smoothies and instead wanted me to break the cell walls of the greens with my teeth and mix with my saliva. With all respect to Dr Esselstyn I like to believe that a vitamix crushed the cell walls of greens and then I would swoosh in my mouth before swallowing. What do you think Dr. R? I so much want to begin using the vitamix cause I believe I can consume alot of nitric oxide producing greens, Laird
What lab panels should men be getting to check
I was taking L arginine for testosterone and low libido and I just did blood work and it showed high Hematocritct & Hemoglobin could that be the reason ?
I don’t swish with hydrogen peroxide I just use it on my toothbrush. Should I change that?
Absolute bunkum 🇬🇧 l am 68 years old and have take L arginine daily for years , l go to the gym three times a week and lift heavy, do what your body tells you and it what others tell you unless you have a medical condition,

You're awesome, I live all the info you provide. Thank you.
😁😁😁
I take citrulline for sports performance. It’s great. I can talk and ask my mates questions during WODs and Run Club and they’re like “AGGGHH!!!”
One bothersome thing about taking supplements for any reason is they always tell you it would take two or three months for it to start to work. I don't mind taking something for 30 days to find out it's not working and then stop but I do not like the idea of paying for something for 90 days and find out it doesn't work
and you spent the money anybody else feel this way?
That's just nature and how supplements work in the body.. they are not a quick-fix like medication.. they are helping the body to create certain effects or heal itself, which takes time.. personally, I start to notice benefits from supplements within 2 - 4 weeks of taking them but of course the longer I take them the more improvement I notice.
I also like to cycle through, I don't like to take anything for too long, so typically I will switch after a month or the longest I will take a supplement is for 3 months and then I take a month off
@@merncat3384 I'VE READ ARTICLES ONLINE THAT TAKING 2 WEEKS OFF IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOUR BODY TO RESETS.

Hi. Good work. Kindly inform me how to order the potassium nitrate you discussed with Dr Beth Shirley.
Dr. Ross, the chart on Two Major Pathways shows Nitrate and Nitrites as a good thing. I'm curious. What makes this proposed use of Nitrates and Nitrites healthy and those same things unhealthy in hotdogs?
Dr. Rachael has done a video on that subject, kindly consider checking it out for in-depth information ruclips.net/video/sZaiyxmzj28/видео.html

I have a question. You say that mouth wash is bad to gargle in the back of your throat. Are you referring to only mouth wash with Alcohol in it, or does that also include alcohol free mouth wash as well?
Dr.Rach can you please make arrangement for me to buy a signed copy of your E-Function Smoothie book? Where and whom do I make contact? Thanks.

I've been taking L-Arginine for about 6 years now. It's been a life saver for me.
I've suffered with migraines for years - 2 to 3 a week. Taking 3G a day of L-Arginine has knocked that down to about 1 every 4-6 months.

Why is it ok to use citrulline when you said it also uses the arginine pathway?
Well that’s interesting but how much arginine is too much and how much is safe to take?
What about Agmatine sulfate for increasing NO ? I use it along side with L Citroline

Your intelligence combined with your beauty is an aphrodisiac
It works for me I go for 1 hour a session I take it once a day wakes up when I need it I’m close to 50
What's tough for some of us to accept is that there can be a great variance in sex drive. It took me until I was 31 to lose my virginity, and I've never had sleep erections, but I eventually fathered 3 children. I'm now 71 and my need for sex and ability to have it is exactly the same as it was 40+ years ago. I just have always had a low sex drive. My health is excellent and I've had my testosterone level checked and it is good, so for me, this is normal.
What about L-Carnitine - are the effects the same?
Hello Dr. Racheal, I would like to ask you a question about a product. Its name is N1O1 Nitric Oxide releasing Lozenges. How do you feel about this product and would you recommend it for someone over 60yrs old?
Is this referring to the supplementation of L-arginine? I eat peanuts and popcorn which have l-arginine. I also chew Super Beets heart chews daily.
How about washing our tonque?
Does it corelate with worsening creation/absorbtion of NO in the mouth?
Analogicly As You say so that bacteria killed by mothwash have to be avoided. Maybe the same is to be careful with washing the tonque out of bacteria? Hmmm.. but it would make the breath be not pleasent. If this with washing the tongue is correct - Maybe it'd have to be washen after some time after the meal, not right after.
Thnx for this info, I will quit arginine. I should have known it, if bodybuilders take it it’s gotta be bad.
Beet juice work?
I am just going to fellow the pathway down the yellow brick road 🤔 just use coconut oil for your mouth wash.

Awesome Video Dr. Rachael... Never thought about Mouthwash as potential or real killer of the Microbiome !!. I'M 71 YO, dealing with spinal issues of Stenosis , Disc bulges, Spondyliosis (Vertebrea arthritis) , DDD, and 25 Degree Scoliosi. I ahve been taking L -Arginine on & off for years. 1000 -3000 mgs per day , 3-4 X a week. I am unable to workout anywhere close to what I used to do over 5 years ago. But your video has enlightened me to the fact that my artheriosclorosis ( 1 artery is 50% blocked) may have been a result of Arginine. I have begun taking Citruline a few months ago, sparingly, 3 X a week or so , 1000-2000 MG. Curious of your opinion of his as being good or bad for me. If I take Horney Goat Weed with Maca and Tribulus in combo with Arginine, I can obtain a good erection. Unfortunately, my spinal issues which include Splondylioethesis at L5-S1 does create some Saddle Anethesia which is affecting my bladder & Penal functions. As you state, he Body is a complicated Mechanism. I have alos started to take a Prebiotic, Probiatic, and Postbiotic supplement to hopefylly contribute to better Gut Health which is all the Rave Now. I have subscribed and look forward to more great info.
Dr. Ross, I have truly appreciated your videos. I am more concerned with the overall health benefits of nitric oxide. I am looking for a good daily nitric oxide supplement. @@mrhebrew7511 Beets are loaded with oxalates. Very bad for kidney stones and other things.
@pmaint1 Yes, I read that too, so I'm confused now!!! Oxalates are very harmful to human health, which is why we have to boil those veges to bring down or eliminate the oxalates. Same with lectins like in long green beans have lectins; very bad for one.
