A simple game, a perfectly weighted ball not a large ping pong ball as today. Players of all shape & sizes rather than today's who look straight out of a football video game. Stan Bowles at half time would pop out & put a bet on horse racing! Characters characters. They are all so boring now, paid a million or more. Football managers who had character & were British. Thanks RUclips for our football time Tardis.
What a team the Rangers had then ! Arsenal too , but the Rs were immense .... Great match , at one of best stadiums ever , loved going to Highbury with the Rangers
Alan Ball, what a player…..never a stray pass. Some great players on show for both sides, Chippy Brady, Dave Thomas and of course Stan Bowles and Gerry Francis. Thanks for posting this 👍
Parks was unlucky to have his career at at time when England produced loads of top class goalies, Clemence, Shilton, Stepney etc....would have been England goalkeeper otherwise.
The days when British youngsters were able to be given a chance to play top level football, fabulous entertainment, now we are all diversity woke woke woke ,the football association should be ashamed of themselves, sold the great game out for money 😡😡😡😡😡

Great video. Thank you Alan. Real football.
An early version of QPR's total football of the mid 70's. What a team!
Absolutely.
What a shame they didn’t win anything. I mean that sincerely, not facetiously. They played attractive football you would pay to watch.

Good game. I also enjoyed the short documentary "What It's Like Inside a Black Hole" that separated the two halves.
Good old Arsenal.
Back in the days when the advertisers hadn't really caught on.
My god forty years ago.
That comment is now 3 years down the line....time flies, my friend.
nearly, nearly
Back in the day proper football ,today’s fancy Dan’s wouldn’t stand a chance
Brian Moore said Arsenal were bottom of the league ?!
Graham Goodall Yes they were in 74/75
@@colinbaker3916 but finished in a lofty 16th place !
21.40 Francis beats 5 players !

Subtitles is an option made available by RUclips. You can turn them off by clicking the text icon (next to the option for resolution).

Webb was ex spurs of course.
Dave Webb never played for Spurs. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Webb_(footballer)
Webb was ex-Chelsea. McLintock was ex-Arsenal. Hollins was ex-Chelsea and went on to play for Arsenal.
