@@gregod806 The match was televised live in Norway and ever since I've rememered that goal by Phil Nutt. So sad that he got that nasty injury. Nowadays he would have been back after a year.
@@mjh5437 James went from Derby to QPR in about September 1977; Tommy Docherty had just arrived and he cleared out several of the players including James. He swapped with Don Masson. That would have been about the time Thomas went to Everton. The Doc moved from Derby to QPR for the last match of the 1978-9 season and got rid of James again!
Yes I met him and Kevin Hector when I was in the junior Rams supporters club as a 10 year old. Both teams had some great players, just a shame for most of them that England, Wales and Scotland were "not at it" when it came to international football.
Trevor Francis came to QPR in the later stages of his career. But what a player he still was. Rangers have had some fantastic players but Trevor was one of the best I was lucky enough to see. He even managed us. Quality.
My dearly missed Dad took me to this game.
Dave Thomas - briliant, underrated.
Colin Todd was an outstanding player
likewise Bruce Rioch.
The Premier league is not the same without the blue n white hoops of Queens Park Rangers.
What a team derby was....
yep
Phil Nutt with his only league goal in a league career of just four appearances as a sub.
Poor sod had to retire through a cruciate injury only a few weeks after he made his debut. How's yer luck?

@@knutolavhalseth6761 Yes, very sad. He had a bright future in front of him.
No Stan Bowles in the QPR side. That would be one of Leighton James's first games for Derby.
Rangers signed James a few years later as a very poor replacement for Dave Thomas when he went to Everton.

December? .. pitch
Je connais mal QPR.
Je sais que c'est le club favori de Robert Smiths.
Tevor Francis ne jouait t-il pas dans ce club
avant forest ?
Ce n'etais pas Trevor, Einstein, c'etais Gerry Francis.
@@MrX-wd8cm you ain't a linguistic Einstein with your sh*t French, mate 😂

Phil Nutt was a genius. Probably the best player ever to play for QPR.
