I purchased the complete set of tie rods for my escape 2009. Competed install in 2.5 hours.
I did not have to take the inner and outer apart, I put them on the table and assembled the new set to match the length of the old set, then install the new assembled set.
May have to turn the inner rod for less than 45 degrees in order to make the connection for the outer rod.
BTW, the tools in the U shape with two screws is amazing
did your kit have grease fittings? Mine doesn't

I bought the kit but my tie rod ends and my ball joints didnt come with the grease fittings does that mean they are pre-greased?

It seems that there are two sizes. I bought wrong size as the rods on my Escape are bigger.
Why there is sound coming tak tak tak while rotating the steering wheel? Pls advice..
