As for as the different sizes go, any manufacture date to 06/04/2009 uses a 16 mm thread. After 06/04/2009, it uses 14mm thread.

You said you replaced the rods because you heard "clunking". Your old tie rod seemed sturdy still. Did you try shaking the tires left/right and is that what the clunking was?

At 9:29 you begin to tighten the inner tie rod end. You showed the tool that fits over the tie rod end but there was an extension that that was used with the ratchet wrench to tighten the inner tie rod end. Did that come with the tool?

Look at the package. Do you think the extension fit in there? Nope, it's just the tool.

I could not hear what you said what long handled tool you used removing with the removal tool. ( I might not be explaining myself right.)

its obviously a super old post, but if anyone else also has this question, its a special "inner tie rod removal tool." its essentially a super long socket with a special fitting on the end. You can rent these at pretty much every auto parts chain like Oriellys, autozone, advance, etc. If you are doing this job only on your own vehicle when needed, probably best to just rent it than buy it. But if you got to these places and tell them you need an "inner tie rod removal tool" they will (hopefully) know what you are talking about. Hope this helps you or someone at least.
Edit: The tool i am referencing is the long black handle with the 2 half pieces that fit on the end with the flat edge that he showed. I have personally used these a couple times and i rented them from autozone and oriellys both

For transmission I have 177864 miles u am sec owner. I read you have to change guild every 30,000 miles. Or just change filter use same transmission fluid. It's not black. Or smell burnt. Or do you have to change transmission fluid too

You can hear a slight clicking noise as you move the steering wheel back and forth a small amount with the wheels on the ground. Confirm it by pulling back the cover boot and you will be able to see visible movement between the two pieces as somebody moves the steering wheel back and forth.
