Girl... I had to take off restriction to comment. You are my match!! I needed this. I been searching but channel's have recipes to hard but healthy or easy and processed. Ur a mix of both and I am not a cook. Thank you for breaking it down to where I can follow. So happy
I just found your channel in the last week or so and I love it! Perfect amount of education, showing how to realistically implement habits, etc! Appreciate you!
Hi! This is my first video from you. I can’t wait to learn how to cook, eat, prep and all things healthy kitchen related from you. 😅 I’ve been needing help so desperately and it all seems overwhelming but I’m happy I came across your channel! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent video Becca! I love roasting a whole chicken too, I add potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery as a bed under the chicken then that makes for easy side leftovers 😊
This was so inspiring Becca 🤍 I'm literally excited about tomorrow to get some meal prep done 👩🍳 while it's snowing outside ❄️ A love your routine videos, all your practical advises and recipes. Oh wait! I'm also interested about all the cottage updates 😍🏡
Thank you, this is so helpful. I really need ideas on make ahead lunches that I can eat during the week. This is definitely something I could improve on because if something is not planned, I make poor choices. -Connie
Totally got insp to start up my bone broth and chia seed pudding again! It's been awhile. Lately I made my whole chickens and then used the leftovers and bones to make a soup but I want to stock up on having to broth available beyond one use.
Totally got the pregnancy out of breath but embrace it. These years go quickly. I would love to see how ur fridge is. I have hard time fitting stuff. Glass jars come up missing. How do you keep everything organize?
I’m gonna try the chia seed pudding. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and told to avoided wheat oats rice and potatoes. And to increase my omega 3. That pudding will do my ovaries some good! lol thanks
Love these ideas! We make a lot of the same foods haha but I NEVER thought to add cranberry sauce to my yogurt 🤯🤯🤯 would be good on chia seed pudding too! Yum! thank you!
Do you have any advice for someone who was just diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes? I’m 29 weeks and have been tracking for 5 days and I’m STARVING bc I feel like I can’t ever think of anything to eat bc of how scared I am to spike my blood sugar. I’ve watched the blood sugar video and that was so helpful but now I need food/snack ideas to fill and fuel me without the blood sugar spikes 🥲
Oh man I'm sorry mama! If it were me I would be really focusing on pairing any carbs I did eat with protein, fat, and fiber and would focus on eating mainly complex carbs that are slower to break down!
I'm obviously not Becca, but I would highly recommend the book "Real Food for Gestational Diabetes" by Lily Nichols. Highly informative and helpful in balancing your blood sugar in pregnancy.
just wondering if you had the IV antibiotics during labor and birth with the positive gbs result? I am currently pregnant, and wondering if there is a more natural, holistic but still sensible sae option if I test positive but dont want the antibiotics.
I was honestly so conflicted about it, but in the end accepted the abx to be on the safe side. I gave my son lots of probiotics after he was born (still do give them to him) in hopes I could help further develop his microbiome since he didn't get the same amount/variety of flora from me during birth. It was a decision I really struggled with, I hope it's not something you end up having to deal with!
Yes please! My daughter is in Catholic school and gets sick a lot... I'd rather homeschool but we don't have a great co-op or community here. You should also do a vid of why you homeschool too :) @@BeccaBristow
