INEOS Grenadier Showcases New Prototypes at the 2024 Festival of Speed
The Shortermaster:
INEOS partnered with German vehicle modifiers GmgH & Co KG to create the Shortermaster, an even more off-road capable vehicle. This customization includes a raised chassis fitted with portal axles, offset wheel hubs, and larger tires. The Shortermaster, aptly named for its wheelbase being 12 inches shorter than the Quartermaster, is based on their sturdy SUV platform. It’s built to conquer the toughest terrains with enhanced agility and stability.
Rally-Raid Prototype:
Next up is the Rally-Raid prototype, created in collaboration with Buzz Special Vehicles. This vehicle is designed to meet the rigorous specifications for the 2025 World Rally-Raid Championship. Modifications include racing suspension, a full-sized roll cage, and bucket racing seats, making it a formidable contender in the world of rally racing. The Rally-Raid prototype showcases INEOS Grenadier’s commitment to high-performance and competitive off-road racing.
The Safari Prototype:
INEOS also introduced their Safari prototype, developed in collaboration with vehicle modifiers from Botswana. This fantastic eight-seater is an open-air, three-tiered vehicle with a multitude of uses, ranging from film production to conservation and anti-poaching efforts. The Safari prototype is a testament to versatility and practicality, designed to handle diverse and demanding environments.

I have always been a big supporter of Jim Ratcliffes’s Ineos 4x4, however, I feel there is too much bling in the product, the steering is dreadful, and it is made in France! Great to see their partnership with the RNLI.
We need more UK companies to support this product like The AA, The RAC amongst many others !

Thanks George - sorry to hear you found the steering to be dreadful. Have you tried it off road? Ben felt it handled well that way.
Totally agree with you regarding their support of essential services here in the UK. It was great to see the official RNLI vehicle here. They have set up a five year partnership, and have allocated 20 Grenadier Station Wagons to cover the UK and Ireland.

@@PlanetautoUKI know what he means by the steering it’s not traditional steering but it is better off-roading because you don’t have to worry about the steering wheel biting you with a sudden jolt and when it comes to on road you get used to it, It is a good all purpose vehicle and I would really would like a manual and a speedometer up front but other than that it’s quite good, oh and somewhere to rest my leg lol
