20k is the normal range for the regular Qed and pulls out of quantum. The short range one is 2k when around Armistice zone. Atleast in live. Thanks for doing this testing.
@@NoNaNelson69 In Erkhul it's dampener always been 20km as well but it never was fixed staying at 2km in LIVE so its actually true on Erkhul now. This means the cutty is viable now.
There is a tutorial on Reddit on how to use the Mantis. "Fishing Ships - SnarePlan and Quantum Interdiction" Fyi the Snare always has had a 20km range. Only the Dampener is 2km.
ya that was interesting, that it dampens up to 20km.. its been a minute since Ive been on mantis in Live so remembering is hazy. But I swore it was under 3km in order to keep them from jumping. Crazy though. Good testing with ya!
This is why stealth mechanics will be clutch. That net might be far. But, I've shut down some ships to a detectable range of 2.5k. So, unless you visibly see me. You wont catch me lol

acording to gamefiles, dampener has bee increased to 20km as well, not sure how correct/intended that is

TLDR: basically nothing changes, qed forces SCM and dampener has increased range

in live dampener is 2km; gamefiles suggest that it was changed to 20km for th EPTU, not sure if thats intended
