- George's Son tries to get in with a rough crowd at School.And does it in a pretty public way trying to get in with them.I remember the actor who played Simon was asking me on a previous channel to upload this one.As he didn't have a copy by then,hopefully he may see I did on this channel now.Decent edition,nice seeing the family side of George Parrish away from work here.
He (the young man) looks like Albert Ingalls from "Little House on the Prairie" 😂...

Looks like this was filmed during Summer 1984.As most of the cast are suntanned and location work all sunny.

Great episode with subtle, understated acting. The only weakness to me was the ignition keys left in that car outside the pub. 1984 had less crime perhaps, but nobody would have left keys like that. It was necessary to the plot but not realistic - but that's a small point.
@@MrWindermere123 Only other way to do it is if Simon grabbed keys off a table in pub.Then it could be which car do they belong to though in the car park?.

Parish almost sounds like Robson Green.
This ep confused me as Sgt Parish son who is bullied at the start of the episode is not seen again, with another son running amok and a third trying to join the Police. Where did the first child go for the rest of the ep? Odd!
You just see two of his sons don't you?.Simon gets in with bad crowd and steals the car.And gets in trouble while his elder brother wants to join the force.And didn't rebel like his brother did.
@@SteveHarris-nv9iy There's another kid at the start who gets in a fight cause his dad is a copper, and it's not Simon. Parish and hus wife have a scene with him on the stairs at home. I quite confused!
@@lifeinpiecesuk Not seen it recently but thought there was just Simon and his elder brother featured in George's home.Good episode anyway even if you found it confusing.
The parents talked about the youngest son at the end of the episode. Pay attention much?

Great example how the feminization of our society happened: "the mommy's boy" versus be becomming a man.
