- All rights remain with the BBC.Uploaded here for entertainment and Police Procedures of the era. Some travellers have set up base in Hartley so of course some Army Majors and the like aren't happy about it.Then the local paper gets involved and tries to prove they are selling drugs.Neil Morrissey gets his first tv break here,as it's at least a year before he was a regular in Boon. Some other familiar faces like Peter Halliday make up the older guest cast here.Enjoyable edition, hope you think so also.
Thanks for the uploads. Its great to see all these again. I'm from the area these were filmed in, and was a kid in the 80's, so I love seeing that area and time I grew up in. And the cars too.
It looked like Burnley town centre where the hawker was selling his stuff.
I keep hearing that nostalgia is a bad thing for some reason, but Im a sucker for it!
Thanks again
Great. Thanks.
Thank you for all the great uploads.
Nice to get start and end titles of a later one up.So all credits can be read as it was made.
Nice seeing a Star Wars toy offer when you see the Shopping Precint first around 2 and a half minutes in.
Star Wars was well past its peak by 1984, so toy stores at the time were trying to offload excess stock. I remember seeing them sold REALLY cheap on the seafront at Blackpool. 50p each or something.
Well Return Of The Jedi was out previous year so not that old hat.Franchise still doing well then.@@matthewlawrenson3628
Omg I remember that poster !!
A time when there were still real journalists.

Why would there be 2 sergeants on the same shift in a small police station??
In quite a lot of episodes they have say George Parrish starting day shift. While Joe Beck is finishing nights. So they do try and address that sometimes. They liked using the 2 sergeants together though I think onscreen. So that goes out the window sometimes.
Splendid time for England ( 70s- 80s) ! Without uncontrolled immigration, which is forcefully inforced on English communities today. I hope these series will be English heritage
