A half barrier level crossing located within the Roswell Pits Nature Reserve within Ely, a level crossing which will be permanently closed as part of the Ely Area Capacity Enhancement project, which would see numerous additional trains per hour on this already very busy 'pinch-point' between the three separate routes towards Peterborough, King's Lynn, and Norwich. Only authorised vehicles can use the road up to and across this level crossing, so this level crossing is effectively pedestrian only for the public.
