66079 & 66086 at Chapel Road with "The Andover Fist" - 05.11.16

Seen passing over Chapel Road crossing on the Southampton Eastern Docks branch, 66079 & 66086 top and tail "The Andover Fist" railtour from London Waterloo to Fawley Esso via Southampton Eastern Docks.
Not long after the tour passed, the front two coaches derailed approaching Canute Road crossing, causing the tour to be cancelled before it even really begun.

Lets hope they do re-run the tour, next time with decent loco's and a headboard, otherwise its just another non-descript tour. Thanks for the upload, so glad I didn't waste my time on this tour.

At least someone got a shot. I think someones head going to roll over the derailment. I only got some pictures from Marchwood waiting for it, They may reschedule it to a later date. Which would be great.

Cheers Alex. I was going to go to Canute Road but decided agaisnt it as I thought there'd be a few people there and we'd be jostling for space. Glad I didn't now! Heard there were quite a few at Marchwood and Frost Lane waiting for it, a shame it never made it.

Cheers! Yeah, was sat in the car waiting for the return and then saw some emails about it. Definatley not a good day for you guys on the tour! Will they try again or do you guys get a refund?
