it is just breaking of EULA, and usually, this is not worth the time and money pursuing a lawsuit. plus, it is not as simple as a double click of an app, it requires skill to get a proper hackintosh working.
that sticker at the end gave it 4 more cores and 16 more gigs of ram instantly!!

Unibeast isn’t great as it isn’t always up to date. Vanilla install is much better

I don’t understand why anyone uses it. It’s so easy to just install vanilla and add the couple things you need.
unibeast is just trash, there is a nice page on reddit explaining that, check it oiut, and stuff like niresh and similars are some of the worst kinds of hackintosh trash @@mhammadalloush5104

What's the cooling / thermals like on the NUC vs the Mac Mini? The Mac Mini throttles after about 1 minute of full CPU load. Hits 100C very quickly.
which configuration things did you do? USB installer gives AppleNVME failed error message on NUC8i7 32GBRam, 1TB Intel 660p nvme.

Just tried doing this, couldn't get it to boot into the Mac installer after days of trying. The only thing left I could think of was that the NUC's newest BIOS makes it incompatible (similar issues on forums had suggested BIOS upgrades/downgrades), so I tried to downgrade the BIOS and ended up bricking the whole system. :( Even worse is that clearing the CMOS, removing the battery, etc., nothing will even get to the BIOS or the BIOS recovery menu. When I press the power button, the blue light turns on and immediately off.
It’s hardly a fully working hackintosh ! Light work what does that mean ?

ive built 3 hackintosh's its not for the weak or impatient. but with enough forum searching and some long days/nights and some command runs. it can be fully functional, including the accursed imessage/facetime
DON'T use HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) if you're using an SSD. APFS is going to have superior performance and longevity.

if the macOS doesn't support the intel wifi adapter soldered onto motherboard in this device how is it that it supports the intel ethernet adapter that is used in the intel nuc devices?
Yes, but you'd still have to buy the GPU adapter thing as well as a monitor. Still, very well done. Also would you be able to dual boot it? I think if you were able to dual boot it, the experience would be much better than anything a Mac could provide.

Did they elaborate how they solve the wifi+BT card incompatibility issue? That's key in building hackintoshes. I had to get a broadcom card for the ATX build but I don't see how to solve the problem for NUCs.

Some issues with this video.
1 - DO NOT use Unibeast/Multibeast. Do a vanilla install. You are much better off in the long run.
2 - You do not need a Mac to create the install media. You can easily find instructions to make the installer using Windows.
The install issues they had are almost certainly due to using the *beast method.
OR do install with VMWare

You actually don't have to have a Mac product to build a Hackintosh, you can find the OS and all the necessary files online
But that'd be pirating and Hackintosh people strongly against it.
@@Koffiato well, by installing mac os you are effectively violating apple's terms, you're already pirating software
To add to this there are open source installers that pull the from Apple directly so that you can hackintosh without pirating.
Or you could just run mac os on a vm

The latest Mac Mini is actually pretty solid: 8th gen CPUs with 4 or 6 cores

You can't buy a dual core Mac Mini anymore. Quadcore is standard and it goes to six core.

@@TechDunk The Macbook Pro without touch bar hasn't been updated for quite a while. Can't recommend that to anyone. But to be fair, this video is about a desktop system, which usually have a higher core count.

does that mean bluetooth devices like magic mouse or magic trackpad won't work with it because bluetooth doesn't work on it? is there a usb/bluetooth device you can add to it to make airdrop and other things work?
I built one of these. Crucial DDR4 2400MHz 16GB RAM, NUC8i5BEK (the one without the 2.5" bay) and a Crucial P1 500GB NVMe SSD. Boots macOS in seconds and for the most part (minus wifi/BT), it works perfectly. I use it in class all the time dualbooted with Windows. It can even play games pretty well too. Mine reboots and shuts down just fine though. And I did the exact same thing with the sticker :P

You didn't solve your WiFi issue, didn't explain much.
He touched on it early in the video: get a USB WiFi adapter compatible with Mac OS. I personally don't like the solution.
