I know right! Although I’d jump when I hear that cannon. I’m blind, and never been to an aggies game, but so worth it to hear that, the war hymn, and to see a midnight yell in person. I’m not from the school, but I’d do the best I can to yell right along with you guys. I’m all california teams all day, cause that’s where I’m from, but that don’t mean I can rep my fam in other states, including the lonestar.
My 14-year-old grand nephew is a sousaphone player. I sent him this video and a bunch of others of he Aggie band. Even though he lives in Virginia, I think I have him convinced to be an Aggie.
@@johnwaffleh2p70 they didn’t rip off country roads??? The only way to do that is to actually steal the tradition. Also this stadium is bigger and a lot louder. (Coming from someone who’s been to both, and a fan of neither)
I can't tell if you're being a smartass or not. If not, the beginning of the War Hymn goes "hullabaloo caneck caneck", and it's meant to mimic the sound of an artillery piece being reloaded. The end of the second verse goes "chiga roogaram, chiga roogaram, rough stuff, real tough, Texas A&M."
I was there, right next to the guy in the maroon shirt
Right next to the guy in the maroon shirt? THEY ALL WEAR MAROON SHIRTS LOL. LOL. LOL.

By far the greatest college football venue and game day atmosphere I've ever been to. So glad we made the 23 hour drive. Well worth it.
Great place to see a game. Great atmosphere. Top 3 SEC venue.

Show him some other marching bands that don't have to play follow the leader and can march in a curved line.
@@txblades1 It's not just about the quality of the band; it's the quality of the school. A&M is miles better than friggin Ohio State.
@@GeometricMason Are we talking about friggin Ohio State?
I’m from Kentucky and the corps of cadets has me pretty well convinced!
