The force from the drummer pounding on the drum is directed into the surface of whatever it is they are standing on, not sideways into the guy's leg. He just is keeping the drum on edge as it were. Remember the "M" in A&M stands for Mechanical. IOW, engineering. Aggies, like US Military Academy Cadets have lots of engineers in their cohort.

What is the narrative behind the use of a song containing multiple N-words and FBombs as the football team entrance song at Kyle Field?
Many still do take offense to the use of these racial slurs..
One would think TAMU would want to be part of the solution, not the problem?

Unfortunately, TAMU is a very conservative school. So it seems they will continue to be woefully ignorant of our ever-changing society for the foreseeable future.

@@pageboy25 are you referring to the melody to “Hot Time” (which in not a military cadence) with new lyrics at the very end? Do you consider the melody without any lyrics to be offensive? What about the melody used by the smaller university in Austin that is the same as “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad” which in an 1894 version included a verse in “negro minstrel dialect”? Since the US National Anthem uses the melody from a bawdy drinking song, should non-drinkers and recovering alcoholic demand it not be played since it offends them?
