As a Sooner, I’ve always had a ton of respect for Texas A&M. Watching this brought tears to my eyes. Such an amazing song, played so beautifully for such an amazing man. Well done to the Fighting Texas Aggie Band!

There have only been two occasions where hearing the Aggie War Hymn brought tears to my eyes. The first one was the Aggie Band tribute to the victims of the 1999 Aggie Bonfire collapse, and then this was the second. Rest in peace President Bush from the class of 2006.

HW carried to his final resting place with a song whose central message is “Texas sucks”. What a legendary choice.
So glad A&M and Texas are back in the same conference so this rivalry can flourish once again.
