How lovely are growing your Aloe hybrids, Ana! Congratulations about growing succesfully so many seedlings, I've tried and it's not easy👌💯👏👏👏. Enjoyed this video and encouraged me to try again on growing from seed, thank you for sharing this💕.
Great video sis. I love plant updates, love seeing how fast or slow they grow and what they look like now. So many seedlings sis. Looking forward for moreupdate on th euphorbia seedliings.
FANTASTIC update Ana and BEAUTIFUL blooms, all your Cactus seedlings are looking absolutely AMAZING, and the Aloe hybrid babies are so CUTE, and so happy you have the Kiss of Death Bug Spray too, its a fantastic product, thanks so much for sharing the wonderful update, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas for a wonderful new week ahead XXXX
Wow that heat is to much!.So many pretty flowers and the seedlings are so neat,I enjoy watching the seedlings grow..Always love your videos ana great job
Awesome seedlings Ana!!! And some spicy ones at that!!! Haha! Love the new aloe hybrids!! I've never crossed aloes before. It's amazing how fast they grow!! My two year old Aloe ferox is 8 inches wide!! Your flowers are beautiful as always!!! I have the solution to the Euphorbia seedlings being tall. If you start them without cover, and exposed to full light( indoor grow light) they will be much stouter and a third of that height. Euphorbias are just different than what we think of as starting cactus seed. Try next time without cover. These plants are adventurous. Two of my most prized Euphorbias started this way. Pow!!! And flung into another pot across the benches in the greenhouse. My zigzag & enigma started by them selves in the pot of a cactus somewhere!! Just keep the soil moist, not wet, and they will sprout and be fine. Just watch them so they don't completely dry out. But truth be known, the ones that started themselves dried out from time to time in those cactus pots and did fine!! Thanks for the shout out!! Your flowers look absolutely beautiful as always!!! All your seedlings and plants look so healthy under the lights!!! I can't wait to see these new hybrids grow!!! Oh the possibilities!! What color, what markings?!! Great work Ana!!! And no one else in the world has one!!! Thanks for sharing Ana!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks , out to Las Vegas have a great week ahead!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌺🌴🌷🌳🌸🌲🌼🌱😀👍
I will try your suggestion next time I plant Euphorbia seeds. 😉 The top part are now getting round. I have them in a morning sun window. Wow at your 2-year old Aloe ferox! 😮 That will be a tree soon! 😉
It was lovely to see how all the different young cactus, seedlings and degrafted ones etc are all doing, very good update, I like those Astrophytum seedlings! I love the Euphorbia, I said to Clyde I am looking forward to trying out Euphorbia from seed, they just look so cute when they grow... and wow unbelievable to hear of the high heat you're going through, at least you don't have the high humidity to contend with aswell, which does always happen in our UK climate, nasty at times too, take care Ana 😊😄🌵🌞🌵🌞🌵👍
Yes, you should try sowing Euphorbia seeds. They seem to grow faster than cactus seedlings. It is a good experience. But just make sure your seeds are fresh because as Clyde said, they have a short shelf life. Thanks for your support, Claire!
Thanks for the info about the bug spray - things are getting pretty desperate here. I have the yellow sticky traps and the mosquito bits in all of my cacti and houseplants, and I just got an indoor insect trap (Katchy). And I'm being obsessively careful about watering so I don't have wet soil or standing water. Somehow there are still gnats everywhere! 😣
I also have the yellow sticky traps. Those work well for the adult gnats. Also try increasing your air circulation. Gnats like it when the air does not move. Good luck! 😉
Great update, Ana. Those Aloe hybrids are coming along nicely. Yeah those Rebutia hoffmannii are quite slow, my seedlings of those aren’t much bigger than yours and they’re coming up to 3 years old! Thank you for sharing with us as always. Have a wonderful day and week from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜☕️
Ah, so my Hoffmannii are growing normally! 😃 Hahaha. Did you see my Mirabilis seedlings? Those are the ones I told you took 6 months to a year before they germinated. From the same batch of seeds that I gave you.
Glad to have watched this seedling update, Ana. So very nice to see that the plant gifts are generally doing well. De-grafted plants are quite challenging but very rewarding when you succeed. Mars Hydro grow lights are definitely useful and handy. ❤️🌺🌼🌸🌵💚
Hi i have just have to replace all the soil in my seedlings as my soil for some reason has not absorb water and some of the baby have shrunk so i am replacement the soil and report them all as i have around 70 trays of seeds to repot but the ones that i have done a few days ago are starting to look better i did the worst of them first, they were a bit red looking but hope they will return to green again kaye
Wow, 70 trays of seedlings?! You are going to be busy if you have to repot them. Though I find it relaxing. ☺️ Good luck. Keep the ones that are red under less light. I find that they don’t grow while they are red.
What is your best recommended watering method? I tend to overwater, now kinda afraid to do anything. Thinking of using eye dropper so as not to get water too close to base. I have cacti and succulents.
@cc31952, for me there is no one right way to water. I do overhead watering because I have a lot of pots. If you tend to overwater, I suggest that you use a pot that is porous like terracotta pots. Your soil will dry out faster in them. Also make sure your soil mix has more inorganic than organic materials. I water when the soil is dry. If you are having a hard time determining if they need water, you can also use a moisture meter. Hope this helps. 🙂
Euphorbias need alot of light during germination i find. But irregardless they grow at the same speed either long or short. Also for gnats. I would highly recommend use BTK (mosquito dunks preditory bacteria) and its 100% safe and is originally made for bird baths. It kills all the larve in 1 to 2 weeks max
@@CactusCaffeine yes nakita ko po na nasa ground sya. Can i do the same watering kung dito po sa pinas?mostly grits po ang soil mix ko. i like the spines to be thicker and wider po kc.
To get thicker spines, kailangan more sun exposure. Pero yung watering, depends kung maulan. Once a week may be too much ngayon diyan. Just observe it and water when it starts to shrivel a bit. You can water more during summer.

Thanks Lyn! Yes, this Kiss of Death is very potent. I’ve never been too excited to find pests ! 😁 hahaha.
Good to know the Trichos are doing really well. 🤗
They loved it better when I brought them outside. 😃

Thank you for your support always, Amanda!
Thanks for this update, everything looks great!
Oh yeah. Growlights are great. It is growing season all year round. 😉
@@CactusCaffeine oh! I haven't realized that. Thank you, salamat! :D

Amazing video, keep up the good work!
I’d love to know the ages of the seedlings you started. Just to compare to how mine are doing. All yours look fantastic
The ones that I sowed and shown in this video are from a few months to 2 years. The ones that were given to me are much older, I’m estimating. 🙂
Wow I have a hybrid aloe but I don’t know the name, great update ang ganda nila
Thank you. Nakakainip maghintay sa paglaki nila. Hahaha. 😉

I’m happy for you! Hope they grow fast

What is your best recommended watering method? I tend to overwater, now kinda afraid to do anything. Thinking of using eye dropper so as not to get water too close to base. I have cacti and succulents.
Just remember, it's easier to bring back a thirsty succulent than revive a rotting one.

@@Blackheathenly wow thanks for that useless comment!
Thanks for the tips! Appreciate them.
AMAZING!
I am new at this. I live in the foothills North Carolina when should I bring my cacti from outdoors to indoors? Thank you very much.
Hi! Right before starts in your location, you should bring them to a warmer place.
Hello po. May i ask how often do you water your ferocactus latispinus?
My Ferocactus latispinus is planted in the ground. I water it once a week during its growing season.
@@CactusCaffeine yes nakita ko po na nasa ground sya. Can i do the same watering kung dito po sa pinas?mostly grits po ang soil mix ko. i like the spines to be thicker and wider po kc.

@@CactusCaffeine ok po. Thank you so much. I once joined your seeds raffle last year i think. D ako napili ni alexa..😊🤣thank you po have a good day!
Ana, did you try 100% pumice for rooting? It works....
I haven’t tried it yet but it’s good to know. I bet there is no problem on mold since everything is inorganic. 🙂
R there a trilogy on euphorbia grown from seeds ?
Have you ever used hydrogen peroxide on your seedlings? I think it's wonderful to fight fungi and the best way to get away of the rot
Yes, I use it diluted with water whenever I get fungus on my soil. ☺️ It works great!
do you have any silver chimney cacti?
I’m sorry I’m not familiar with that name. Do you know its botanical name?
How do you remember all those names.
Hahaha. I don’t. So I have the names written on all my pots. 😉
