- This ATV has a hack up wire harness, a missing OEM CDI, and a dead starting solenoid and ignition coil. For a low cost, a custom DC powered CDI based wire harness was designed, created, installed and tested. This is a lost cost way to fix a no spark ATV,
Awesome video I'm going to trying the 4 pin cdi see you doing it & proved it does work that's me it will save me $350 on getting the oem cdi from another country so thankyou for share and taking us along very much appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Awesome you got it running thank you for the video
So the original stator and voltage regulator will still charge the battery? For that seat foam to be patched on the tailgate, the proper replacement cover would save a lot of time so I could patch with blanket material, cover with a piece of hardened cover material, wrap with stretch wrap, and install the new cover. Let me know Harvey.
I'm also wondering if it'll still charge
Have they stop selling the 4 pin DC kits ? I can’t find them
Anymore
Im looking into this for my artic cat 375. Used cdi are outrageous
It works! Thanks
I got a question can anyone answer, I have a minibike with a gc160 on it, only mods are exhaust and it’s a straight chain to the back no jackshaft. I can get to 40 mph but it won’t accelerate past about half throttle once I’m there does anyone know why?
rich fuel if you push it full throttle , need set up carburator if you have CV carb good luck set up carb
With this conversion how is the battery charged ?
Just wondering but how can I get a rectifier hooked in between to charge the battery?
