I'm a maintenance technician. And I just wanted to leave a comment and say that you did a very good job of explaining the wiring diagram an the flow of electricity. Most explanations do not look underneath the plastic to show you what is taking place.

wow, that's the absolute best video I've ever seen of explaining the charging/ignition/starting systems. I'd really appreciate a video showing how to replace a stator and R/R on a Suzuki Boulevard C90. I've been told that these bikes from 2005-2007 are notorious for stators burning out. I had one burn out on me while out riding and had to pay a fortune to get it replaced but I'd really like to know how to do it myself. thanks so much.

I bought a stator last year from RM thinking it was the issue. After reviewing your video I proceeded to test & found the connector for battery feed from V.R. to be the culprit. Always handy to have spare parts since the stator is fine in my sled & no need to replace. You are a great teacher, easy to follow with in dept procedures to help some of us understand in general layman terms!! Thanks😎👍

Thank you for your video. You have provided an answer to literally every question that I’ve had about low horsepower engines. Very clear Li stated and articulated quite nicely. You don’t hesitate when you speak, and you get right to the point. You don’t waste time with unnecessary chatter. I would enjoy watching a video on you discussing a method to upgrade or convert an old bikes ignition system from points to a CDI system. Specifically we have a couple of bombardier products.
