Northwoods Rock Rally, nothing but Butt Rock, Trump Flags everywhere 5 days in the middle of a field in the blazing Sun, Zero Showers. On the Day you leave, they shut the outhouses down at like 6am, people pissin n sh*ttin outside. Full Terror Assault, 5 Days of Thrash/Hardcore/Death Metal, shower every single morning. Multiple Shower houses, Gender Specific Shower Houses, Outhouses Cleaned Daily.

Went to see Ne Obliviscaris, I haven’t had much concert experience but it was pretty stanky in there, not unbearable though. In all fairness I was in the pit
I went to a Cattle Decapitation, Obituary, Carcass, and Amon Amarth show that was fairly stinky. Not much on the body odor front, but there was a lot of beer+weed+cigarette combo smells going on. Also, a fair amount garlic for some reason. I guess some of these homies hit up an Italian grandma's house before they came to the show. Overall, most metal shows I've been to have been predominantly cheap beer odor with varying degrees of cigarettes and weed. More weed than cigarettes these days.
As the son of a former jugalo I have a quote to say about the smell of those gatherings "It smelt like a white castle onion factory that had burnt down, then had been pissed on. The smell is so strong that it literally feels like your pouring ammonia into your nose and eyes." So yeah sounds like a good time

IIRC they basically made most of their music in their early career about either goofy scenario for fun or scenarios that were then revealed to be about being Christian in some way. It's been a while since I looked into them. They are one of the first Horror core acts alongside Esham tbf so there's bound to be some dated stuff.

And that isn't this. This is just the non washing of a person who doesn't care, has no order, and no will to change the layers of no shower. Work sweat, split old beer, skunk weed and meth, after party puke or at least after party sweat, sleep, repeat. For weeks or months. I had a gutterpunks buddy and his friend that literally could have 3 months between showers. And it wasn't any sensory issue.. . Ok... Later it was cause he2as dope sick a lot later, but they both had always been like this. No one installed hygiene as a necessity to them and honestly, I have known them both for 30 odd years and they both are lazy, and think it's funny others are so shocked by their filth. They also both are pretty inconsiderate of others....they think they are people they aren't

Seattle metal head here, I mostly go to black and doom metal shows, so I mostly smell weed and beer. Every once in a while I go to a death metal show and I also get assaulted with BO in addition to weed and beer. Went to an all ages power metal show a few months back and it was all BO; these teens need to wear some deodorant!
Yeah, the worst smelling I have ever seen and this includes years of going out clubbing and raving in the 90s....was tool. Every tool show, even the lolapalooza tool event has the smelliest fans. They out smell punk shows, gwar fans, industrial .... any other show. Seattle has that added benefit of wet dog mildew stink on top of the layers of pre/post party spill/puke covered clothes,that have soaked in all the sweating out of different drugs, cigs, BO, skunk weed, filth and food. That smell your clothing gets when you forget them in the washer for too long, or they don't fully dry them sit for 3 days in the dark dryer. But 10 times stronger on a human

I knew raw black metal and crust punk would be in here. Thrash metal isn't a surprise either, nor is hyperpop. And I say this as a (hygienic!) fan and creator of punk and metal music.
Anime soundtrack music listeners not being in here however, *is* a massive surprise.

Seattle metal head here, I mostly go to black and doom metal shows, so I mostly smell weed and beer. Every once in a while I go to a death metal show and I also get assaulted with BO in addition to weed and beer. Went to an all ages power metal show a few months back and it was all BO; these teens need to wear some deodorant!
Yeah, the worst smelling I have ever seen and this includes years of going out clubbing and raving in the 90s....was tool. Every tool show, even the lolapalooza tool event has the smelliest fans.
They out smell punk shows, gwar fans, industrial .... any other show.
Seattle has that added benefit of wet dog mildew stink on top of the layers of pre/post party spill/puke covered clothes,that have soaked in all the sweating out of different drugs, cigs, BO, skunk weed, filth and food.
That smell your clothing gets when you forget them in the washer for too long, or they don't fully dry them sit for 3 days in the dark dryer.
