    I have been practicing this move at least 200 per day(for now) and it already starting to show effects. There are no iaido schools in my city so videos like these help me a lot. Thanks for such amazing videos.
    Luckily for me decathlon sports store had a normal wooden bokken. Bought it right away coz it was the last one and I'm quite happy with it.

      I wanted to buy my own one at Decathlon too, but they no longer sell it in Hungary. Actually, they have lesser and lesser budo equipment.

    I bought plastic bokken to Iaido, and am totally satisfied with it, good wooden bokken tend to be very expensive.

    • @SAMURAIKAZARTS
      @SAMURAIKAZARTS  2 года назад +1

      Actually it's better to use bokken. I no next to nothing about plastic bokken. bokken is usuful to strike each other’s bokken. But if your plastic bokken match on you as the bokken weight. I think it's ok to practic it.

    Just asking, is it okay to have your own kind of bokken, like with different thickness, different tip shape etc. I bought mine on online and it looks so thin almost like a real katana.

    • @SAMURAIKAZARTS
      @SAMURAIKAZARTS  Год назад

      It's ok even thin the katana.
      But if the bokken weight too light please buy normal one.

    hi, I bought a Cold Steel bokken but my cuba broke, I wonder what is the name of a training katana that is made of steel and is not sharp ?

    • @SAMURAIKAZARTS
      @SAMURAIKAZARTS  2 года назад +1

      If you want to train with Katana.
      It's better using "Iai tou" It's nut real sword. But you can train well with it.

    Sensei would you tell me pls what do you mean with swinging from the low abdomen?

    • @SAMURAIKAZARTS
      @SAMURAIKAZARTS  Год назад

      It's meaning that don't raise up and swing the katana, do it by lower abdmen. It's a image.

  • @kokolexx

    Sensei, I have a question, will training with bokken makes the strength and muscle between right hand and left hand unbalanced (for example right hand is stronger)?

    • @SAMURAIKAZARTS
      @SAMURAIKAZARTS  2 года назад +3

      When you get used to it you can swing from lower abdomen without using muscle. So your muscle is not become unbalance. In addition actually right hand little bit using.

    • @SAMURAIKAZARTS
      @SAMURAIKAZARTS  4 месяца назад

      It's depens on how you feel each bokken.
      If you feel heavy it's a heavy one for you.
      But there is a case like onece you felt a bokken heavy but now you feel lighter than before,beause your swing skills are improved.

      That type of thick and straight bokuto is used by the current / school called "Kashima Shinden Jiki Shin Kage" (鹿島神傳直心影流). This particular bokuto is used in a kata called "Hojo" (法定之形) of fundamental teachings or _four seasons_ teachings. It's a very special kata for this tradition. ruclips.net/video/Pd7IXus0RZo/видео.html
      The weight of this bokuto in white oak ranges between 1,100 gr and 1,250 gr.
