Gavin's question about 93 octane, I googled it and this was the response "Most of the high plains and mountain states have lower octane gas because of elevation and thin air."
Makes total sense honestly!!
Weird cause California only had 91 and obviously there’s mountains but also goes down to sea level. And Oregon is kind of the same situation but it has 92 instead of 91. And states like Wisconsin which is very flat and low elevation have 91 as well

I'm in Colorado and we only have 91 here. I heard the higher altitude essentially makes it 93, not sure how that works. Arizona has higher alt than Georgia I believe so that's why.

93 is available out there, just not everywhere...theres even a website that tells what stations have 93, e85, and even 110 at the pump and the address that helps tons
Definitely cam it. Cammed vipers sound insane. I'd say turbo it if anything just so you can turn it down on command

I'd do a small precision turbo so it'd be better for towing but still fun. Precision 64/66 would so fun on that truck. It'd spool fast and still be great for daily driving

Gavin if you want a really fun cheap manual single cab truck find a late 80s early 90s f150 with the inline six lots of torque no hp but lots of fun to slide around
My dad had one of these and it was a blast. Chugged gas like a Humvee but man it was worth it.
5:17 altitude difference. Thats why. Higher up means less air(oxygen) lower altitudes benefit more with higher octane then if it was a higher altitude.

Keep it with the stock wheels. They are KNOWN for those very desirable wheels! Definitely exhaust, heads and cam with pro charger !

PLEASE keep “the stock” look on the outside. Meaning keep the oem wheels and just put better tires on her. Then of course add more power. It just looks soooo clean the way it is.

The one thing I'd say, dude, is leave on the stock SRT-10 wheels. I've been a fan of these since they were brand new, and seen them riding on aftermarket wheels. This is one of the few times I can say that the way the factory released them is the best.
Also, an N/A build with a Cam/Valve/Headers/Exhaust build would be sick!
