Lol it was literally only a month ago. Crazy how fast the power creep is . I used to play yugioh alot and let me tell you the power creep is just starting . just wait till we get tue jhoto dex next year
Misty was never overpowered. Half of the time it is a dead card that uses up your supporter play. Players hate Misty bcs how it creates non-games for one of the players whnever it is played, feels bad to play and to play against.
@@jackcassidy7317 well u clearly haven't played against me. If opponent pulls out a Charizard, Mewtwo, or Blaine in this case. A back up mew can easily counter any of them. only alakazam can counter both mew and celebi.
Just a reminder that Pikachu EX decks got the new Raichu and Electabuzz that can target the back line, Galvantula that works like an electric Arbok, and a 1 energy paralysis with Dedenne to mess around with alongside Blue as a supporter that can reduce 10 damage for all the 120 damage counters that have appeared. People need to start experimenting with new strategies, maybe it’ll find a niche against back line supports like Serperior and Gardevoir.
Im the only bastard with horrible luck so bad that one time literally lose the match for not having the second pokemon in bench, but when that not happened mewtwo decks get destruyed, even celebi ex can be full countered with weezing koga scoli hit combo
Part of the problem is that people just don’t want to experiment. Why try things out yourself when you can hop on social media and just look up the best decks? Net decking is an issue in all card games these days, so rogue decks that play well become less and less common. Personally I enjoy messing around with what I have, especially pushing for no EX decks. Sometimes you get destroyed, sometimes you find something unexpected that works out, and I save the meta decks to finish off 5 win streak events unless I see an overly common one to take advantage of.
Well said. I myself have been using original aerodactly in a regular pidgeot deck with starmie ex. Pidgeot is basically a free Sabrina every turn, and aerodactly can flips heads to send opponents active back into their deck. Very satisfying against powered up celibi and mewtwo.
I knew from the leaks the meta would get worse, dactyl only hurts rogue decks and Gengar growing in popularity (another deck that Stompas other rogue but loses hard to meta) but no one could have guessed mewtwo would get three direct buffs, for no reason.
@@Navue-cn2tx mystic slab, dedicated draw card in siglyth(although most ppl aren't using it, which I think is wrong, draw power is premium in this game) and mew. That's direct buffs, but it got indirect buffs by the fact decks like Gengar and and Aerodactyl will function as gatekeepers to rogue decks that might have a specifically good matchup. For ex. I was running a goldbat line in my Blaine decks to counter Mewtwo, but Gengar shits on Blaine decks cause u need Blaine to finish in the mid/late game. Add in a mediocre pika matchup and it becomes unfeasible to try to play rogue
FINALLY, SOMEONE WHO UNDERTSANDS THE BASICS OF A TCG, you have no idea how many ppl in discord I've seen complaining and calling stuff unfair on pocket when they've never even played the actual tcg
Thanks for the forecast! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
I've been finding quite a bit of success with a scolipede/weezing/salandit deck, you're a dark deck you absolutely wreck mewtwo decks you have the salandit as a tech card for celebi, most celebi's aren't prepared for a sudden spike of 70 damage out of nowhere. Dark has gotten some AMAZING support in mythical island, and while the Venoshock deck requires you to think a lot to win with, it's very solid against pretty much every matchup. I'm running Salandit (Mythical island) X1 Koffing (Try both there's merit to both) X2 Weezing (Genetic Apex) X2 Venipede X2 Whirlipede X2 Scolipede X2 Poke Ball X2 Professors Research X2 Koga X2 Leaf X2 And then i've been experimenting with my 20th card, switching between X-speed, Potion, I even tried running a second Salandit, dealers choice really.
Yay a fellow dark deck! Mythical wheezing can be a pretty good shield against celebi if you can't kill them before they power up- 50/50 chance of just stopping them completely. I'll have to try out sandalit, thanks!:D
I like the new decks, it was getting really boring going against the same builds over and over again. I feel like a lot of people would’ve dropped off if they had to wait till February for new cards.
1) Rank Pokemon by like ability 2) Rank Cards By W/L Take any well liked Pokemon that has low win rate, figure out what it needs to be playable that shouldn’t boost anything currently top 5 meta
mew ex feels like a hard counter to m2. slab is a huge buff but mew being runnable in any deck and the fact that I feel like dark type has a lot more potential with the way scolipede counters celebi, mew, and m2 I feel like we just need to wait for the meta to pan out a little longer than just the few days it's been.
Celebi is pretty quick. I lost three times in a row with a blaine deck despite getting great opening hands. Lose a coin flip with Vulpix or new Rapidash and its GG.
Mewtwo EX received the same nerf that Charizard EX got: Mew EX. You can put Mew EX into any deck you want as a one of, and that one Mew is going to beat the Mewtwo EX matchup almost every time. It was never easier to counter Mewtwo EX, it's dominance can only go down from here as people realize that they can tech for it whenever they want with no drawbacks
I got 2 gold crown mewtwos and 1 gold crown mew. I really like the deck jynx has a higher damage output but using someone's move against them is so fun
This expansion was bad for the Charizard ex deck since we don't have any good cards that can fit in to this deck and it was still the same gameplay that will rely on Moltres ex. Btw Pidgeot ex works wonder on those Mew ex, Mewtwo ex and Celebi ex deck. Even Pikachu ex deck was getting owned.
Arbok Weezing is my favorite deck in the game. Maybe Koga variants in general. I love their playstyle. It's a little more stun heavy than some other decks. Leaf makes the inclusion of Muk a lot less costly and it's nice to have something heavy to work with Venoshock, which is something I've been really wanting to try since launch. Also, Team Rocket flair, which was my favorite part of the show. Idk how rare it is to play against, but I'm probably one of them. No regrets. The fact that it's good against Mewtwo is a bonus.
Tbh just ban the specific op cards in ranked matches, can be used in private matches though lol But fr, Celebi EX & Serperior together is op broken as hell
Funny because i can stomp both on my greninja drudiggon and flabebe mew. Ppl really need to up their game on deckbuilding, the only card i hate is misty and pikachu ex
Weird video. Mewtwo is child's play compared to Celebi, which is the leading candidate for first card in the game to receive a nerf, because it's positively broken as is.
😂 this video man you on something. Far of what I seen their are 3 good decks in pokemon pocket. You worried about one 😂. The thing is in the next set you be complaining about 2 color decks being powerful next😂. There is a couple good 2 color decks that I see in pocket today that takes on celebi and Mewtwo. Wait until more cards come out the game will be busted like pokemon TCG live. Plus pokemon pocket is more of just collecting cards not battling the devs said. The pokemon pocket is no competitive and may never have competitive battles in it. The only thing we had is ribbons competitions and they are as close to competitive you going get. My thing is will we see other game modes outside of ribbons or better ribbons collecting. Anyway nice video but you should try irl TCG and see how busted that is as well before complaining 😂 thank for the laughs 😂.
