The only thing I'm wondering about are the promos

I spent money on the game- I own nearly every card in the game with the exception of Starmie and Wigglytuff EX. The limitations don’t affect me. I’m also for it- because it prevents people from creating dummy accounts and RNG rolling free god packs to trade to their main account.

Hear me out: 2xKoffing(Division variant), 1x Weezing (Smokescreen), 1x Weezing (Gas Leak), 1x Jigglypuff (Sing), 1x Wigglytuff Ex, 2x Potion, 1x XSpeed, 2x Pokeball, 2x Professor's Research, 2x Koga, 1x Giovanni, 2x Sabrina, 2x Leaf. I feel like there is room to tweak the trainers/items, but been doing well PVP this afternoon and today. Not sure if this deck has already been thrown out there but I haven't seen it. I call it Wigglykoff.

It doesn't make me want to drop the game because I was doing ok without it until now. It does, however, lower my expectations a bit. Also, if it was about money, why even have trading at all?

I think this system is fair. People who are mad are dumb.

The item to be consumed would most likely be the Shinedust.

Wow I'm number 2. I wish the game developers would add videos to ex cards when they do their big moves or get summoned like in duel links

I wonder how crafting vs trading will work. If trading is cheap, then we can save our points.

Im f2p with at least 2 copies of almost every playable card, only missing a second copy of the newest promo snivy which isnt really that big of a deal since i dont play celebi I was looking forward to trading because i wanted to trade for collecting purposes as the only downside of being f2p are the rarer cards, and this leak makes it so that trading is fully useless I joined like a week after launch, have never paid a single penny on the game and yet i have pretty much every deck in the game, so the "its f2p friendly argument" is completely nullified by the fact that the game is not that hard to complete competitively-wise

i think the reason they limit it that way it because currently all promocard also in that rarity even tho they dont have any diamond nor stat symbol in them, but u can see the border and currently there haven't been any promo fullart that were ex pokemon

I’m fine with not trading alt arts honestly it gives me something to keep opening packs for otherwise I wouldn’t even open the app

How they can limit trading like this but be so adamantly against balance changes is so weird

I think its good for the rarity of these rarer cards

I love the idea of the trading.

Seems like an easier fix would have been trading equal rarities. I have one immersion Charizard, but 4 immersion Celebi and Mewtwo. I don't care about flair. I just want playsets of immersions. This has nothing to do with fraud or multiple accounts. It's simpler than that. They want to keep an incentive for you to keep buying in. If you could trade for anything, even with equal rarities, that's less FOMO and a compulsive need to whale on packs.

Apparently yall have never played Cards, the Universe, & Everything. Trading of all rarities is available there and people love it. It’s a main draw to the game.

I just don't even get why have a trade mechanic if it is just for the most common stuff. Everything you need to complete this past of the collection you already can do just with pack points 90% of the cards are very cheap and if you play all day opening 2 packs even being f2p you can complete it almost on the space of one month. Like you need the Gardevoir? Its just 150 points Even if you didn't pick it on the worst case you can just trade points to get it. I can understand have limits like oh you must be friends for a while or you need be lvl x to trade or have more then one of the card you want trade to avoid people just reroll on alts to get the cards but not the non possibility of the trade.

I'm interested in your videos of gen 1 to 9 if they aren't posted with titles that are ragebait inducing like most of the pocket stuff you've been doing. The videos on the whole are decent but the titles just look like you're fishing and it's a shame

i am not mad about this, atleast we can complete the sets. We have already seen macro rerolling and fa/rr wps going around, if trading allowed 2 star+ cards then it would destroy the game

Yup, trading is designed to get cards we don't have, so they are releasing trading except we can't trade for the cards that we don't have... so what's the point of trading?

If there is no limitation, i believe people would just keep rerolling other accounts and transfer all the stuffs back to their main account. The economy in game will be a mess.

Anyone else have parents that make you want to smash your head into a wall and scream why? Jesus Christ both of them are just butt %*%+ing stupid. Dad is 65. Copd, pace maker. Pushing 400lbs. 3-4 packs of cigarettes a day.. Owns no assets. Works a commission based labor job where his condition limits his ability to work. Wrecker driver. He calls out 2-3 days every 2 weeks. Makes decent money. I was over the road, trucking. So instead of loaning him money to cover his rent, I split it with him. Went back to work locally, so I’m seeing everything up close now. He was financing a 2018 Silverado, it’s been repossessed, and he’s paying for a Harley he almost never uses. 750 a month. His share of the rent is 550. He misses notes on the motorcycle every other month. Catching it up the next month just to fall back again. Been complaining all week about being flat broke because he just paid 2 notes. On to mom. Whole 🫏 moron there. 63. Never accomplished much. Also owns no assets. Spent most of my childhood in and out of rehab and benders.. 6 years ago she finally snapped out of it. Worked her way up to a store manager, was taking care of herself and my grandmother, who retired around the same time. Managed well for awhile. Got herself a nice dodge 4door 1500 ram. I think it’s a 2020. Not sure. Well, she fell out around the start of last year. Gmaw ended up needed rescued from the house. Sister stepped in and put her in an apartment complex for old folks. But whatever. On to what’s really grinding my gears right now. I’m staying with my dad. He’s gotten so lazy he won’t even clean up after himself. Never rides the motorcycle. Binge eats everything. Mom moved down to Alabama with her sister. Also an addict. “Recovered” don’t believe it, don’t care. That dodge is a disaster. Been put in a ditch. Has a gash in the drivers door. Don’t have a key so no idea how bad it is on the inside. She’s behind 2 notes now. So she’s going to abandon it, let the bank have. Well mister can’t afford his motorcycle but won’t let it go.. wants to take over the truck. They’re been divorced since 96’ btw. So no relationship. He’s broke, hardly worked last week. My girl and I want to move out. Because it sucks living here. But before this stupid truck, already living with the expectation of him asking for money. Tired of tell mother no, get that phone call once every few weeks. Some sobbing and idk what to do’s like man I’m in my own ditch. Cant help you. So father towed the truck home. Mom’s mailing him the key. He’s been avoiding the conversation since he first brought it up and shot it down with “how can you even afford it” His response was I was hoping you’d help with it. So that’s usually how I get around anyway. So now he’s hoping my sister will help him pay for it. She just spent the last 15 years in a bottle, finally coming around herself. Just finished nursing school. We don’t talk much. Rough relationship. So 550 in rent, idk how much his cable bill is, because old folks and cable man I swear. He only ever watches old westerns anyway. He pays my phone bill with his, in exchange I cover the utilities. 550 in rent 750 in the bike. Bike insurance. Cable, phone. He’s broke. Adding a just under $500 note to his list of bills. He took care of me when I was screwing up, so I feel obligated to help him to some degree. But freaking a man. He’s quickly shifting to a dependent. He doesn’t have it in him to work like he used to. Mom blew her last chance at a decent life. 63, body is starting to fail. god dammit I was holding onto a lot of immersive charizard ex cards (I pulled a lot of charizard packs cuz I wanted moltres ex for a deck and got several immersive charizards before I got any motres at all) and I was hoping I could trade them for other immersive cards to make my other decks prettier :(

So same deck, I’ve got a meowth and Persian in mine. Also 2 x-speeds. For scolipede. Since leaf is a trainer card. Meowth helps me draw out the deck faster, especially if you get it first turn going second and up against a stall deck. Persian is more of a troll. I had a round against the same deck without meowth and Persian. Beat out their first weezing before they used koga. Just happen to get that Persian card and discarded the the second weezing. They conceded. I’m sure the other 2 cards in hand were koga

I think a Team Rocket set could be the sub set for Johto as a 2a set as you get a majority of the named Team Rocket characters like Archer in Johto

They should expand the list of decks so you can have more than 15 imo

It doesn’t bother me at all. I’m missing like 4 base cards. The meinfoo thing. The basic one. Charizard ex Pikachu ex and kangaskhan. I have the gold pikachu, and a more rare charizard ex. I just need the base 500 pack point ones.

They should At least do what Pokémon go did in that you have to be friends for a while to trade higher rarity

The cards are digital. They arent real. Games are meant to be played, and being able to trade diamond rarities means this game is essentially 100% f2p forever if you only care about playing. Anyone freaking out over not being able to trade for ugly 3d model fullarts or the art rares are basically nftbros.

For me, some cards would not appear at all until you buy them with pack points or unlock them in wonder trades.

Listen I’m honestly shocked that EX cards and 1-star rarities would be tradable (assuming the leak is true). The minute they said “some cards” would be eligible to trade my thought was 3 diamond rarity or below. I’m sorry for anyone who held out hope and is now upset, but I really don’t understand where you saw that hope coming from.

Yep it’s bull shi, and we should have seen this coming, nothing genuinely awesome gets made anymore.

I'm more annoyed by trades having some sort of energy and duplicate card cost than rarity caps. It's completely understandable to limit 2* and rarer. But if I have to spend some kind of energy just to trade a card, or having to use several repeated cards just to get one card in return will be very disappointing. Example: I still need Exeggutor 3♦️ to complete Genetic Apex. Imagine having to spend 3 duplicate cards 3♦️ to get 1 Exeggutor...

The tweet talking about trading said it would be limited at first, eventually we will be able to trade everything, just give it time

People fail to realised that at the end of the day every game is a business and they want users to spend money on things that are in game luxury ie anything 2 stars and above. Trading will help players build the deck they want to play faster and that’s the basic point of the game, to play the game. Anything else like collecting all the cards as soon as new cards are released or having full art cards is a luxury that is fair for players to pay an extra premium to attain them. What’s the point of spending on the game if I can just create a bunch of new account to get the cards I want just cos of the sake of cosmetic purpose? And it won’t be fair to those that already spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on the game. Let’s be fair here guys.
