Yeah it would be a lot better to wait for the next batch of packs, I almost have 300 and will just use the 2 free packs a day on the mew pack, there isn't enough to do in the game that would justify spending all those hourglasses
I didn’t bother saving the hourglasses because with every expansion they give you tasks to complete that give you 20 hourglasses anyway giving you at least one 10 pack pull if thats what you wish to use it on.
I like the added gameplay after the video, I think its nice. But for videos that are more 'googlable' videos like tutorials I don't think some people would want that added at the end. that's just what I think, keep up the quality content!
It's worth noting that you don't lose the free pack if you wait >12 hours from when you get it; it lets you store 2 free pulls and the timer will pause until you use one of them, so you can do that if you really want to get the most out of new pack drops with just freebies.

So I have a Machamp ex and Marowak ex deck because I got a god pack that had 2 different versions of Machamp ex in it, so I built it around that. I think it's actually nearly identical to one of the ones you battle in the solo matches
As a note for fellow premium players, keep in mind the new pack does NOT have all types in it. If you (like me) are still trying to get the missions complete for pulling a certain amount of a type, take a look at the available cards and pull from Genetic Apex if you need to. (Looking at you, metal cards)

831 hourglasses. Knowing Genetic Apex was gonna be a permanent set, I never felt in a rush and thought it was better to save up for limited time sets. Probably gonna lead off with a ten pull for Mythic Island, naybe another if there'sanythingI want to chase, then go back to slow burn for the rest of duration and see how far that gets me. If there's still more I want before the set expires I'll pop more hourglass on last day, or if I finish early I'll just switch back to filling out Apex untill next full set drop.

Icon and it'll say something about the availability of booster packs ending, which will result in that booster packs points expiring. It's worded differently in game but this suggests that genetic apex will eventually expire.
