Honestly serperior is quite broken, it’s making every grass deck meta but with celebi and executor, it’s unfair. Crazy big damage with two organic energy for both of them.
I played a few rounds with blaine against this deck and its pretty one sided for the celebi player you cant oneshot celebi even with blaine but they can it was so frustrating
I only pulled 1 celebi and 1 pigeot, but I got everything else. just 2 cards off finishing the base set, too. Hoping to get my 2nd celebi and pigeot ex's at gold reset today.
I think its a bug. Wording on Celebi says: attached energy. Serperior increase obtained energy, not attached. So, they need to correct wording on Celebi or repair the code of game.
I found out that my weirdo Charizard Moltres deck got better because my one-off mon has always been Flareon instead of Arcanine I only have it for the cases where none of my Chars can be completed but it then happens Flareon can. Flareon doesn't do Char's nasty 200 a pop, but 110 as soon as you get 2 energies on it (bc Moltres usually switches for free with X-Speed or 1 extra energy I usually place on it) which is still pretty good even against Venu and all other chunky EX mons. Especially because if they don't oneshot it, the 2 energy left on Flareon after attacking are good enough to switch him out into Moltres again to start feeding your Char again. It's great for stopping a setup in its tracks by early killing with the sudden 110. Except that on Celebi it straight up oneshots it bc of the type lol
Idk about this Celebi deck, I got Mew Ex and I started doing cheap damage: 40 dealt and then I started flipping coins with my opponent. If Mew goes too much down on health, you can rather cure him or bring him back in the hand with the explorer, which puts your opponent in a loop only ending with his/her loss.
My first thought when seeing celebi + serperior combo is how does alakazam work against it? Does it see the double effect of serperior? If so that’s such a good counter
The consensus around standard Celebi decks seems to be that you NEED a Dhelmise inside the deck, maybe at the expense of a potion since it's kind of a tank, or even a Leaf or a Speed X card since this is genearally a low retreat cost deck. I honestly don't know what is best. If you don't have other base pokemons you increase your chances of drawing Celebi and start doing damage early on. On the other hand Celebi isn't really reliable until you're a few turn in, unless you're very lucky on the coins. What do you think? I also had success with Celebi/Serperior only decks but I'm really on the fence about it.
Not sure whats more broken this or the Venasaur Ex version of this deck. I dont have Celebi yet but the Venasaur EX with Serperior is insane. 2 energy to start doing 100 damage with up to 90 heals a turn. Im enjoying this mini set immensely
From what I've seen I don't think people are playing serperior-celebi that well to be honest, such a powerful card to just bet every endgame to an all or nothing First thing, even tho the deck is so fast, it's not always the best decision to try and be as fast as possible, you can tank attacks with your serperior lines that are pretty bulky, have low retreat costs and can use Erika, so when celebi hits, he has waaaay higher chance to do damage. You can also sacrifice serperior, its ability doesn't stack so you don't need to, but using it as a wall and a pivot sacrifice can help you increase your odds of doing high damage. Also, it's not illegal to attack with serperior, 70 damage for 2 energy is way more than solid, that's golduck and electrode tier damage, and in some chances, it's better to go for the guaranteed kill, or the guaranteed 2 kill, than again like it happened to you, to bet it on the coin flip, that way you also build up celebi safely And finaly, i think something like a khangaskan could fit so nicely into this as well for the same reasons, more damage through the early so celebi or serperior can clean up later and wall the oponent to build up celebi
Incredibly powerful deck but I believe Mewtwo Ex is stronger thanks to the new disc thing that adds a psychic from the top and Blue making him a lot harder to KO in both the mirror and the celebi matchup
i have this but a bit different. 2 Celebi EX 2 Snivy 2 Servine 2 Serperior 2 Chatot 2 Potion 2 Poke Ball 2 X Speed 2 Prof Research 2 Blue By having 2 Chatot, i have a high of reshuffling my deck, so i can "mill" my deck faster to get the Serperior line. I didnt put any erika coz i cant use it on Chatot, I put Blue so i can use it for chatot's survival in early phase.
Oh and i havent seen a video of anybody tlaking about how good a counter to celebi the new Salazzle is. Posion with 60 damage, 1 energy. That card has potential.
I've got an Interesting Marshadow deck in mind with the promo Mankey "Charizard" Primeape line it's entirely focused on Trying to do a consistent 100 damage to all Pokémon and can blitz sometimes from what I've seen (I only have 1 Marshadow so far, but even with 1 I've had a lot of fun with it I don't think it'll be meta though) the Idea is 2 Mankey (promo) 2 Primape (Charizard pack) 2 Marshadow 2 Hitmonlee 1 Hitmonchan 2 Professor's Research 2 Giovanni 2 Sabrina 2 Poke Ball 2 Potions 1 X -Speed

I'll definitely try this deck, great video
Fact that you didn't even get one celebi even after opening 120+ packs is crazy😂
He got it on my account after haha 😂
@@ItsSakumai nice 👍
20 pack i got 2 mew ex and 2 celibi ex 😁
@@konohamaru2790 good for you, I only get 1 crown mew and 1 3stars celebi 😁
I have 4 celebi already xD
Honestly serperior is quite broken, it’s making every grass deck meta but with celebi and executor, it’s unfair. Crazy big damage with two organic energy for both of them.
They really shook the meta. From pikachu ex and charizard to celebi ex serperior. Cant wait what the next booster pack releases do, 😂
Please show the full deck list in your videos, you forget a lot and we have to try to recreate it from what we see you use in the video
Full decklist is in the intro
@@GODZLYYno it’s not, do it like Mogwai , show the list on vid. Or not I don’t care .
There needs to be a boost to control decks, more ramp in energy removal or card removal.
New cards changed the game completely
I played a few rounds with blaine against this deck and its pretty one sided for the celebi player you cant oneshot celebi even with blaine but they can it was so frustrating
I only pulled 1 celebi and 1 pigeot, but I got everything else. just 2 cards off finishing the base set, too. Hoping to get my 2nd celebi and pigeot ex's at gold reset today.
I think its a bug. Wording on Celebi says: attached energy. Serperior increase obtained energy, not attached.
So, they need to correct wording on Celebi or repair the code of game.
Celebi getting 12 spins on me earlier was hilariously op.
I almost have this deck, just need 1 more Servine. I got lucky and have the full art serperior and immersive celebi so it was meant to be.
Oh did you get celebi ?
We are throwing our phone to the wall this time 🗣️ peak gambling rng meta
I am having a good success with a Blaine deck, using the new ponyta and rapidash, its fun and very good into celebi/serperior
Saw the full art serperior and knew I wanted to build a deck around it. Hell, it was grass so it was inevitable. Team Erika all day everyday
Ran into this monster last night. Caught me off guard.
I like adding a caterpie to search for serp line
I went 7:0 with the Celebi deck but then lost 2 games in a row to 2 variant marshadow decks! I think Marshadow is becoming popular in Japan
Not sure whats more broken this or the Venasaur Ex version of this deck. I dont have Celebi yet but the Venasaur EX with Serperior is insane. 2 energy to start doing 100 damage with up to 90 heals a turn. Im enjoying this mini set immensely
From what I've seen I don't think people are playing serperior-celebi that well to be honest, such a powerful card to just bet every endgame to an all or nothing
First thing, even tho the deck is so fast, it's not always the best decision to try and be as fast as possible, you can tank attacks with your serperior lines that are pretty bulky, have low retreat costs and can use Erika, so when celebi hits, he has waaaay higher chance to do damage. You can also sacrifice serperior, its ability doesn't stack so you don't need to, but using it as a wall and a pivot sacrifice can help you increase your odds of doing high damage.
Also, it's not illegal to attack with serperior, 70 damage for 2 energy is way more than solid, that's golduck and electrode tier damage, and in some chances, it's better to go for the guaranteed kill, or the guaranteed 2 kill, than again like it happened to you, to bet it on the coin flip, that way you also build up celebi safely
And finaly, i think something like a khangaskan could fit so nicely into this as well for the same reasons, more damage through the early so celebi or serperior can clean up later and wall the oponent to build up celebi
I wonder if you can run grass energy and use a misty to get more energy instead of waiting for Serperior
Im running 2 new eggxecutor line, 2 serperior lines and 1 celebi ex and its cracked
Incredibly powerful deck but I believe Mewtwo Ex is stronger thanks to the new disc thing that adds a psychic from the top and Blue making him a lot harder to KO in both the mirror and the celebi matchup
i have this but a bit different.
2 Celebi EX
2 Snivy
2 Servine
2 Serperior
2 Chatot
2 Potion
2 Poke Ball
2 X Speed
2 Prof Research
2 Blue
By having 2 Chatot, i have a high of reshuffling my deck, so i can "mill" my deck faster to get the Serperior line.
I didnt put any erika coz i cant use it on Chatot, I put Blue so i can use it for chatot's survival in early phase.
I Added liligant to this deck to add just an extra punch. And best damage so far has been 450
Honestly todays Packs do powercrept Mewtwo EX decks like how Gyarados EX with Vaporeon with Misty destroy it.
Oh and i havent seen a video of anybody tlaking about how good a counter to celebi the new Salazzle is. Posion with 60 damage, 1 energy. That card has potential.
Once I get that Moltres EX promo its over for this deck
Just pulled my 2nd Celebi card 😭 I had everything but that to make this deck 🔥
I believe that you should only be able to concede on your turn. It's just doesn't seem right, allowing it on either person's turn
Does the extra energy count towards Alakazams psychic?
Yeah
Then: Mewtwo and Gardevoir
Now: Celibi and Serperior
I've got an Interesting Marshadow deck in mind with the promo Mankey "Charizard" Primeape line it's entirely focused on Trying to do a consistent 100 damage to all Pokémon and can blitz sometimes from what I've seen (I only have 1 Marshadow so far, but even with 1 I've had a lot of fun with it I don't think it'll be meta though)
the Idea is
2 Mankey (promo)
2 Primape (Charizard pack)
2 Marshadow
2 Hitmonlee
1 Hitmonchan
2 Professor's Research
2 Giovanni
2 Sabrina
2 Poke Ball
2 Potions
1 X -Speed
I have 12 packs to try and pull a celebi and a full serperior line 🙃
What happens if you have 2 serperior on the bench?
They dont stack up
Even if they tone it down to 30 damage per coin flip it's still very strong
Yeah if you manage to set up serperior and celebi you could beat any active pokemon in play 😂
packed a gold mew, feel like I won’t use him lol
Just use it on a mewtwo deck.
A deck that I’ve been enjoying is
2 - Exeggcute
2 - Exeggutor
1 - Snivy
1 - Servine
1 - Serperior
1 - Celebi EX
2 - Potion
1 - X Speed
2 - Poké Ball
2 - Professor’s Research
2 - Erika
1 - Giovanni
2 - Sabrina
All the Pokémon are from the Mythical Island packs not the Genetic Apex ones
How about a Caterpie in this deck to get the Grass Pokemon even faster?
I run a butterfree line with my version. It’s not quite as consistent as you’d think or maybe I just haven’t had good rng lately.
Wth, holy moly this deck is nuts, i want Celebi EX too
Jynx and Alakazam go brrrrrr
I don't even have one Celebi ex, let alone two. And no cards for Serperior's Evo line either.
Got shafted on my packs too bro, only got full art serp and exegg. Nothing else
I've won against all of them using Ninetails deck
14:50 no shot you said snivy’s name like that 💀
