@theadmiral4157 I like the idea of this mode. There are so many great decks that can be built especially in the future with the addition of more cards, that don't need EX cards in them to be fun.
if they sneak in, just immediately concede but theres no benefit to winning private matches, so i dont think there will be any mewtwo or pikachu ex players trying to cheat the system

This works realy well, i have Player Up to 20 Game without seeing any ex Pokemon. Great fun in this Mode. Hope they will add the Option to non privat Games ❤
underground battle rules is awesome, I can't wait to try this because playing against mewtwoEX and charizardEX got stale after the first week of the game, and at that point not everybody was running them either! StarmieEX is still scary to contend with, and chance based cards are still bloating the card selections, but at least this looks fun!
So far I am sweeping noex with my Pidgeot/Victreebell combo. Made the deck after running Pidgeot with Aerodactyl and FarFetchd in an all white deck. Another deck that I love is my Liligant/Parasext deck. Will eventually make a Butterfree/liligant.
I feel like I’m gonna get some hate if I bring my Dragonite deck, Wheezing & Muk deck or Melmetal & Greninja deck in this mode even if they don’t have ex cards because they just do well even against meta ex decks
Nope bring them in! Dont feel bad, thats the format. If you think your decks powerlvl is too high and it ruins your experience just try other decks out. I m sure there are other players like me enjoying this format just because we dont see any ex bs. Ofc we see other bs but thats fine it is still another format. The cool thing is it is kind of a casual friendly format because nintendo will do everything to make ex pokemon the chase cards with full arts and so on so we NOEX players will eat good everytime a new expension comes out. While normal format will be filled like rn with ex spammers like we all do to get exp, noex will always be a "budget" kind of format. I ve seen so much deck variety the last 3 days playing only noex. It is like 10x the deck variety of normal format although we have less pokemon avaible. Crazy right? Just join

I can finally use my flip deck in this mode (i run all flip attack mons just for fun) 😂 , still ran into d9 deck ik its not ex but others were trying something new but this guy is still running meta deck 😮💨
Ex blast oko mew2. And most other mons. He is better but you have to go all in on him and try to survive to five energy even if you go second and misty fails.
Quick note, raichu has to discard ALL energy after attacking. so if you stacked 6 energy onto it you would still only be able to attack once

If the system automatically removes their ex cards when joining the private game then they won't be able to exploit it

I already have a no ex deck for multi player, its ditto and pidgeot using electric psychic and fire energies to punish meta decks
I’ve been doing playing non Ex nidoking dark deck in the event mode and it has been fun nice to know about this option now thanks 👍

I have a few non ex deck and this mode is so much more fun to play. Just played with my bisharp deck

Non Ex Blastoise is actually better, in many ways, than Ex Blastoise. Same for Executor
