Installed mine in 5 minutes while I was eating breakfast, worked perfectly. We'll see how long the battery last they claim 3 years. I am calling bullshit on that.
The tail piece on my unit was loose and came out. I placed it back in and was able to finish install, but should I be worried or replace the unit? It functions fine, but seeing how yours did not move at all, I'm concerned
Hello, how are you doing. I have a lock just like I don't know, or maybe you mentioned it but I don't quite understand English and subtitles are bad. My point and my question is whether this lock is sturdy or against the water? forgive my ignorance but I don't want to make the holes in my door without be safe and create a problem for making the mistake, I hope you can answer me.
Good video except when I followed the Schlage directions and did the bolt test by pressing the "Schlage" button and rotating the outer thumb butterfly toward the door edge, the bolt did not extend and the test failed. The outer thumb butterfly simply free wheels. The lock went together just as in the video. The lock never made any beeps so maybe the new lock has a problem. I installed it exactly as the video and instructions say twice to be sure it was installed correctly. The battery was exchanged and both batteries tested over 9 Volts DC with a Fluke voltmeter.
This video is probably one of the older models and they may have changed for the new ones but they’re pretty much the same so I just put a new one in on my front door. Good luck thanks for watching.
Thank you I've tried putting this on for hours now and having trouble with screws lining up. Thanks to your video I did it!
Glad that my video helped you appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching
GOD bless you Sir for the simple and to the point instructions
Glad I could help. Good luck on your install and thanks for watching.

Didn't the locks have a problem with the rain?

Shouldn't you have swapped the round edge bolt plate w the square corner one they give you?...
maybe
Does this protect me or not?
Works great I have them on all my doors but if someone hit it with a sledge hammer??
You know you should use the new screws and strike plate to make it look more beautiful
Nice video, well explained, it is pronounced shlage
"And Bobs your uncle"
Poor directions might need to go back to school and learn how to pronounce the name of the lock haha shlage
