On June 23, 2022, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration in West Salem, WI. Upon approach, the driver would not identify himself. When he was asked to step out of the vehicle, he put it in drive and took off from the traffic stop. Weeks later, the suspect had a visitor and instantly regretted answering the door.

They literally just lied to the guy and manipulated him into giving up information. SMH. This just shows that they should have a how to deal with the police video for every state. All this trouble bc the car had an expired tag. This isn't heroic or worth celebrating. It just shows that police will lie and be manipulative in a situation if it benefits them and most people are not taught how to deal with that. Talk to any criminal defense lawyer and the first thing they'll say is don't trust anything a police officer tells you.

Liberals/leftists: “The utter brutality of the officers here is sickening! ACAB!”
You can tell this guy's never been held accountable for his actions. Life isn't a video game, do the crime you do the time.
exactly...thats why he calls his mommy every time he gets in trouble.
I’d rather find away to go inside and end it all, at that point. Cuz if they take you to jail your life’s basically over. Plus he’ll be labeled be a felon. What more can you do after that. Sad society but this how it works.
@@swaveyjay69 Well if you don't make stupid ass decisions that land you with a felony to begin with, you wouldn't have to worry about it..

Hopefully that won’t kill him
The patience of these officers is so amazing.
He calls his mommy for the traffic stop, she lies and tells police she doesn’t know him, he gets arrested at her house and he doesn’t know he has felonies including child enticement. He gets his lying ways from his mommy.
That’s from not having a dad his mom is for the streets, didn’t raise him right at all.
Mommy says "he's a good boy"
„Never hurt anybody, always played with his kids and wanted to go to college later this year“

These cops went above and beyond. They didn't have to be as nice as they were at all. Alot of respect for these cops.
Agreed!
Yea I would be a way worse cop. I don't have time for this shit.
As always it seems . A great deal of empathetic professionalism shown to suspects not familiar with the true magnitude of their crimes . The last charge had a concerning effect on me as I'm sure it did many professionals .

That was awesome you guys were so nice and kind to someone who was so afraid. So WONDERFUL 😊😊
I am always astounded at the fact that these people NEVER seem to grasp the connection between past actions and future consequences.
The guy is obviously slow. The officers quickly noticed it and handled the situation well.
medulla oblongata
They are like children. Notice he didn't want to call his father. He called his mom. Single parent homes are the single biggest problem for the black community.
It's not so much that he can't grasp the consequences. He just knows he doesn't want to accept them. He can play dumb all day, we all know he knows exactly why the cops are there.
@Michael Smith Dont put that on all blacks. That's an individual thing

After seeing so many brutal and fatal arrests im actually tearing up at how polite, decent, patient and respectful these policemen are ...they need to show this at those police academy to show how to CALMLY de-escalate a situation....GREAT JOB GUYS
holy shit this is the nicest arrest ive ever seen in my life. they even treated him to some cigarettes? this is like getting arrested in first class holy fuck this gave me goosebumps at how wholesome this arrest was LMAO
Should be how all police interactions go. Went from running from the police, then being absolutely terrified and irate ending with him apologizing and them sharing a smoke. People make mistakes. Hopefully this changes this kid for the better.
lmaoo @ first class arrest
When you're not violent, just scared, police will bend over backwards for you... most of the time.
The bad ones just treat it like a 9-5 and don't care.
some newports at that

The de-escalation and negotiation tactics by these officers are amazing. Glad to see some great police officers out there.
It is so unfortunate that there are many officers who do not exemplify such professionalism and empathy

Props to the cops for handling themselves professionally and demonstrating supreme patience.

Too much patience. That could get then killed in other situations. It is rolling the dice, really.
All the bad apples, take fucking notes. We are all human.
These officers are extremely professional and considerate of the environment. This was good police work
Top notch. They convinced him that he would be safe, and that he had no choice to being arrested.
No, it’s stupendous. They went far, FAR above and beyond. What pisses me off is that this elite-level police response is now going to be considered to be what is expected.
This should be an example of what professionalism really is.
It ridiculous, idiot should comply or gee not do illegal shit.
No such thing
I hardly ever comment on these but I gotta say these was the most respectful professional and patient cops I ever seen 🙏🏾💪🏾
That body shaking is involuntary and you cannot fake that. He really is scared.
There's a difference between being scared of police brutality and being scared of being held accountable and going to jail people have gone soft if they think this man fears for his life

Once again...Kudos to the cops for great police work. The calm and patience displayed is commendable. 👏🏿💯
These officers were so calm, patient and accommodating to the ridiculous pracrastinating guy. The officers have excellent communication skills. I love that they talked him into walking to them and into the cuffs.
Someone apparently incorrectly told a bunch of people that saying “I’m scared for my life” gets them out of trouble for making poor decisions.
But could he breathe?

The best way to de-escalate is mace or a night stick. Sick of these criminals being treated like a crying baby. They deserve nothing and if I did what he did, neither would i.

@@edwardcapobianco2975 I agree that criminals should be punished, but how you're describing it with nothing but violence does more harm than good. The professionalism that was displayed by the officer with the yellow bracelet was immensely impressive - great job bud.
Facts we need to applaud and award this type of action in line of duty.
The amount of privilege this criminal showed was astounding. He knows exactly what and why they are there and he's scared for his life .. got it lmao
@Rat Cxnt yes line of duty asshole. The cops had enough merit to rush him kick in the door or whatever and beat his ass for obstruction. Davonta was obviously was terrified of going back to county jail, likely because of abuse he experienced in there. That's why he was stalling and trembling. The police officer was able to recognize that and chose to deescalate and peacefully bring him in. When ur policing adult human beings u gotta treat them with baseline level of respect . criminal or not because everyone is innocent till proven guilty or valid probable cause is presented. They knew davonta had a violent past they could have been physical with him and got the job done quick, but the police officers chose to take their time do the job right. Secure the perimeter, one person gives commands. Listen to what's going on even though Davonta was capping like fuck they still listened treated him like one of their neighbors. They even sparked his cigarette for him.
