Robbie is a total legend. First he picks up the merchandise that fell on the floor while they're still arresting this dude, then he offers the cop a candy bar xD man deserves a promotion.
It kind of works to say that if your goal is to mislead the general public. Unfortunately this guy has a ton of people defending him and condemning the police. Why? Because most people don't care about context. They don't care what happened before his camera turned on or what happened after it.
One thing I was not aware of is that if you shut off your car and exit the vehicle, they can't say they stopped you, they have to stop talking to you immediately and leave.
You are actually allowed to resist an unlawful arrest, which this was. But eh there was no reason to start a physical confrontation over cop ego to begin with. No one is in danger over a broken tail light, it's mickey mouse shit that gets the cop out of doing real work.
I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed this! The way he asked the officer if he wanted a candy bar or something I was like end of shift dude went to take the trash out and smoked some or took a gummy.
Empty parking lot, healthy, able-bodied young man egregiously picks a handicap parking place. That reveals all we need to know about his character right there.
Into a settlement from the city when it's found that legal precedent reaffirms what the man said as soon as the body cam audio started. He states that he was not in or operating his vehicle when the officer initiated the the traffic stop, and that it was therefore illegal. He was 100% correct. The dashcam shows that the police didnt even turn on his lights until the man was walking away from his car. Precedent has consistently sided with the motorist in cases like this, and the supreme court maintains that the stop must be initiated on a vehicle with an operator in the driver's seat, and typically on a public roadway. The cop was totally outside of his authority, and civil rights lawyers have won several similar cases in the past. A cop worth his weight in manure would have simply waited for him to leave, at which point the cop would actually have the right to pull him over, but instead we get boomer hate fuel and a settlement that taxpayers fork over.

I couldn't tell from the video, but a police officer has to hit his blue lights on your car on government property. If he did not turn on his blue lights before the man pulled into the private property of the store, then it's too bad for the officer. He's not allowed to conduct the stop. You can look that up on Google. I'm dead dead serious! That even goes for speeding also. It goes for any traffic stop. You cannot pull over a person on private property. If you did not turn on your blue lights before the citizen hold on to private property. You have to hit your lights while you're on government property first.

Gotta love how the dude's first instinct when a cop tries to pull him over for a busted break light is to immediately illegally park in a handicap spot in front of the officer.
The cop could have waited until he got back in the car then pulled him over instead he approached him in a emasculating way by saying get back in the car. He could have said sir I’m approaching you because your brake light it out and I need to see some information and don’t say he feared for his life because he followed him inside the store, with that said dude was out of line and his attitude was poor but I’m sure it’s because of the history blacks have with corrupt cops. Most blacks just don’t hate cops for nothing most cops don’t give blacks a reason to like them.
This video is gold in so many ways. The dude Parking directly in the handicap spot, screaming for a Red Bull, Robbie being a five-star employee and fixing the chip display while 3 cops are wrestling with a man, and offering the officer a candy bar. I can’t handle this…
I also enjoyed the cut-away to the other cop running back to the car he had stopped and basically throwing the chick's license at her "IT'S YOUR LUCKY DAY I GOTTA GO *DONT DRIVE, YOUR LICENSE IS SUPSENDED YOU CANT DRIVE* CALL SOMEONE TO COME GET YOU" then peacing out before the driver even had time to react 🤣
How dare the police violate this man's right to Red Bull. I bet this wouldn't have happened if he was a Monster drinker; the discrimination is disgusting.
To be fair, I didn’t hear him pull the Black Card. Unless I missed it, he never said the stop and arrest were due to his skin color, so at least he has some common sense.
99% chance it would have been a warning too. I've never had a cop give me a ticket for a head light or break light. They always say to get it changed as soon as possible. Now if you get caught a week later for the same light then they'll probably give you a ticket

That might be true in some parts of Wisconsin but, as noted by the officer, this happened in Washington County and they don't play those stupid games. The same is true in Seattle and Portland OR. You can get away with anything there however, travel a couple of miles outside the city into another county and all bets are off on getting pampered instead of incarcerated!

It's quite possible that he's on the autism spectrum and really doesn't know how to react to that situation, so he just does his job and tries to be what he thinks other people consider "normal".
I like that he argues that he wasn't legitimately stopped for his defective brake light, without contemplating that he needs to presently drive the car to his work after his shopping, and would be pulled over by this cop immediately then.
It never ceases to amaze me how people can turn a simple traffic stop into an all out war and end up with multiple charges at the end. Arrogance and entitlement are your enemies.

Yep! Here in Maryland, you don't even get a ticket! You get something called a "fix it order" and it LOOKS just like a ticket, but all it is is a paper saying you have 10 days to get the defect fixed, and then you have 30 day to have an officer or certified DMV personnel check it and sign off on the paper. It's then automatically sent into the police database that the problem was corrected and signed off on and you're all done! I just got pulled over last week for a tail light being out and went through this. My license had even expired but because I was courterous and cooperate, the officer just told me it was time to renew my license online, gave me the fix it order for the light, and sent me on my way!
Exactly. The officer would have informed him of his brake light being out, told him to get it fixed in a timely manner and he would have been sent on his way. So ridiculous that he turned it into this spectacle...
there's a 99% chance he would have gotten a warning.. for a brake light. This is the media's fault, convincing people that cops are out looking to kill black people, when it's far from reality.
no because he and the car smelled of marijuana, right? wouldnt they have cause for the smell? thats why the guy immediately parked and got out of the car because he was actually trying to abandon the car/lead police away from it, and possibly talk his way out or get a ticket away from the car so maybe just maybe they wouldnt smell anything but yet the smell was also on him so he was doomed either way. people do stupid stuff like smoking that crp while driving so it is what it is. they do it to themselves and they pay the consequences. do that stuff at home, not outside. and if u know u did it at home, then dont leave the house until u take a shower, brush teeth, and put new clothes on. ppl are just plain out dumb and thats just how it is.
@@Darthecus Depends on the cop and what else they have going on, also depends on the city/state for how they enforce weed. In most cases, the cop wouldn't spend too much time on the stop because they'd just want to let the person know their brake light wasn't working and needed to get fixed.
Certain people use the tactic of being extremely loud, aggressive, yelling and argumentative to distract from the problem they face. This guy is the perfect example.
his mom did that infront of him hos entire life. i bet he still lives with her and when he finally comes home she will cook him a nice dinner andgive him some money to go out and do it again.
I remember being pulled over for a broken tail light. The officer gave me a written warning to get it fixed and inspected within three days or pay the fine. I fixed it, took it down to the sheriff’s office and they attested it was fixed. Simple as that.

After he found out im the owner of my vehicle he looked embarrassed and expected me to say “thank you” after he told me he wouldnt write me a ticket. I let him know at age 30 it was my first time EVER being stopped by the cops and he looked irritated. Went to the dmv immediately after and got my decals. Dont let them try you. He's a real one. 😅
It always blows me away when people manage to turn a most likely warning to fix a broken taillight into a trip to jail and a felony resisting arrest

You can look that up on Google. I'm dead dead serious! That even goes for speeding also. It goes for any traffic stop. You cannot pull over a person on private property. If you did not turn on your blue lights before the citizen hold on to private property. You have to hit your lights while you're on government property first.

Also, meanwhile there could be a serious EMS request and he's misusing one unit for no reason.
give them laxatives and send them on to jail lol
Thanks for writing this! The criminals will definitely see this while watching their daily police cam videos and think of this comment the next time they are trying to avoid jail. They definitely don’t want to risk inconveniencing anyone and probably didn’t know 😔 You’re so thoughtful! ☺️
@JohnsonTheGreat1 ease up on them bud. It’s a tough job.
He's looking for one mistake to get a lawsuit.
I like how calm this guy is 😮
Red Bull is the last thing he needs.
HAHA
Pmsl 🤣🤣🤣
Very level headed individual 😂
Maybe he does after all that pot.
The RedBull would’ve gave em wings
“Do you want a candy bar or something” wtf? 🤣
I love how this all could have been avoided if he just listened and he would've probably gotten off with just a warning
A fix it ticket at worst, verbal warning at best. But noooo, he's smart enough to know better - according to himself.
Yup. How to build a mountain of shit out of an ant hill.
Exactly. The officer would have informed him of his brake light being out, told him to get it fixed in a timely manner and he would have been sent on his way. So ridiculous that he turned it into this spectacle...
The BLACKATITAGAIN TRIBE
Imagine him AFTER he has a Red Bull
Bruh😅😅😅😅
💀😂
Add him to the Nightmare blunt rotation
😂😂😂😂
He already had 4 and needed more, caffeine addiction is no joke
How someone can be yelling that much consistently and not have an aneurysm is mindblowing
I was just thinking that the last thing he needs is Red Bull.
He gave me one
What else do you expect from a 250 lb drama queen 😅
I think this guy is mentally ill on top of having a BLM victim complex.
he didn't get a redbull either
“I’m a grown man”.. proceeds to act like a toddler
There was a 90% chance he would’ve gotten a warning
there's a 99% chance he would have gotten a warning.. for a brake light. This is the media's fault, convincing people that cops are out looking to kill black people, when it's far from reality.
Nah he would've talked his way into a ticket or 3
True but he did have no license plate and didn’t pay his registration
no because he and the car smelled of marijuana, right? wouldnt they have cause for the smell? thats why the guy immediately parked and got out of the car because he was actually trying to abandon the car/lead police away from it, and possibly talk his way out or get a ticket away from the car so maybe just maybe they wouldnt smell anything but yet the smell was also on him so he was doomed either way. people do stupid stuff like smoking that crp while driving so it is what it is. they do it to themselves and they pay the consequences. do that stuff at home, not outside. and if u know u did it at home, then dont leave the house until u take a shower, brush teeth, and put new clothes on. ppl are just plain out dumb and thats just how it is.
Exactly and true cowards.
Manipulator
@aliezahjuarez1212 Afraid to face the consequences of his actions. Everything is somebody else's fault. Great example for the next generation.
I went to law school - be loud so you sound smart
They bring on the trouble, they cry and whine when they get checked. He acted tough because he was a scared little boy..
Man, how he turned a problem into a situation so needlessly is nuts.
his mom did that infront of him hos entire life. i bet he still lives with her and when he finally comes home she will cook him a nice dinner andgive him some money to go out and do it again.
@@codechartreusenah, he was resisting.
No, he was Definitely resisting!! And basically acting like a loud mouth idiot!!
He turned a problem into a situation where White cops are racist and always picking on black people or other races.
he didn’t do anything they attacked him for no reason 😂 y’all always side wit po po i swear
Robbie's a whole vibe dude
I remember being pulled over for a broken tail light. The officer gave me a written warning to get it fixed and inspected within three days or pay the fine. I fixed it, took it down to the sheriff’s office and they attested it was fixed. Simple as that.
Easy
I was stopped like a month ago bc my decal in the back blew off but i had one on the front. The officer was a jerk and thought I wasnt the owner of the car till he ran my name through the system. He had backup stay with him too. Im a petite black female and stayed calm the whole time. They will approach you aggressively sometimes then back off when they find out they messed with the wrong ones. Getting all rowdy transfers power to them.
It’s almost like cooperating makes things go a lot smoother. Who woulda thunk
Well that was obviously a mistake. Instead, you should have parked in a handicapped spot and aggressively berated the officer while playing the victim.
@@THEDOORIZCLOSEDThe policing is after the ones who will resist an arrest. (The most rebellious). Most. Or looking for an attitude which makes it unethical. Even being calm gets a lion irritable.
I absolutely love when the editor leaves in little clips of interactions going on elsewhere during the arrest like the employee offering candy lmaooo
Fr. The editor(s) deserve more credit haha
do you want a candy bar 🧍🏻♂️
Like bro was a npc, picking up the chips and offering the cops a candy bar 😂
He should've offered it to the guy who got arrested but he isn't himself when he's hungry.

Acting tough with cops at first and then when they cuff you, you start to cry. Dude is a clown.
“I’m a victim here” that statement says it all. Zero accountability, it’s always someone else’s fault.
Well what do you expect when you're dealing with anybody from that community
This is what happens when all your life your parents including some parts of the black community, telling you that your in your place because you a nga. It's a shame because so many black families that have a mom and dad in the family have extremely strong family ties and children that do not mess around. They answer yes sir, yes ma,am. They do extremely well in school.
I wish there was a way to bring light into these people's life
These cops are going to need councillng for the trauma caused to them by them rolling their eyes so many times that night.
@@andrewbochicchio2232what you mean by that community?
@@andrewbochicchio2232 I truly believe that they’re taught from a young age” that white cops will profile you and kill you” so they immediately go into defense mode. Parents have to stop teaching their children this bc it creates this victim mentality that’s so prevalent now.If this man truly believed what his parents taught him…he would of cooperated immediately.
