@@jram5896 the nice beaches our south of PV specially during the rainy season, like Conchas Chinas. Restaurant in Nuevo Vallarta I’m not very familiar with. Yeo is a Japanese restaurant that is very good in that area

My wife and I were there in July and at the time spoke very little Spanish beyond "good morning" and "aqui" when telling the uber driver where we need to be dropped off. That being said; we have almost no problems navigating any space we went around (Zona Romantica, Cinco de Diciembre, Versallies etc). Even the small "hole in the wall" spots we were able to at least point to a menu item and get what we wanted no problem. Although since going we both have commited to learning Spanish as it still is 1000000% better to speak the language of the place you are visiting rather than expect them to speak English. If you have the means to learn at least some basic Spanish before you go, I think that is always the better route.
