OMG! This is the first video I have seen that is 100% accurate. We moved to PV 2 years ago, and I had to create a series of Google docs to send to friends about where to stay, how to dress, and what money to bring. Otherwise, they end up Ubering an hour from Nayarit to see us in ZR, wearing high heel shoes, carrying nothing but $20 USD bills (because the Mexicans really want dollars from the US! 😂) You address everything perfectly from how to navigate through the PV airport, how to get pesos and why, where to stay, and what shoes to wear. I will now just send my future guests a link to your video. Muchas Gracias !
I just arrived in PV yesterday with my family and this video has been FACTS! Thank you for the attention to detail and getting straight to the point! ❤
Totally awesome guide to PV, thank you, I'm not new to PV but I know that I don't know what I don't know so I keep learning and you helped in that department big time. Thank you again! Keep up the good work with your channel!
I couldn't agree more. My husband didn't want to be rude, so i ditched him and just kept walking to our transport van. he flew behind me quickly 😅. Yes, i gave him a heads up before hand about what what they do.
We were told about the timeshare people, where they would be, what they would say etc. on a trip to Cancun several years ago. As we rounded the corner one of them approached me and I had forgotten everything we were warned about. I did the don’t be rude thing and my wife grabbed my shoulder and said “ come on let’s go, these are the ones we were warned about”. The timeshare person got sassy but I listened to my wife and started walking towards the shuttle area. I guess these people are in all of Mexico’s popular resort areas. The Hotel in the Mayan Riviera also had people who were less “ pushy” but were there to try to convince you to “ upgrade” your stay. It’s what they have to do but just be prepared.
this was fantastic. exactly what I am looking for when researching a new place to visit. u packed in so much info in such an easy to digest way. thank u so much for making this. I took many many notes. You really gave me a good base of knowledge to take into this adventure. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the updates! I know this is super random, I plan on not bringing a lot with me on my vacation there, specifically Zona Romantica, would it be possible to talk about clothing and store vendors and estimated costs? And great locations of these vendors ?
Hello I will be visiting Puerto Vallarta in July 22 to August 5 we have never been in the summer always gone in high season we decided to go in summer because it's my husband's 60th birthday and pv is his favorite place is there still markets during this time and what activities can we do I would really appreciate some suggestions please and thank you I love your videos
Just found this! Thank you. We are thinking June or July. We are thinking a laid back vacation. See some sights. Maybe attend a cooking class. Do you know of any?
This is my grandson’s RUclips hence the strange name. We are staying in what I thought was Nuevo Vallarta but is now called Nuevo Nayarit???. We will be at an all inclusive for 10 days but we’re considering visiting the “ town part” of Puerto Vallarta for a day. What are our transportation options from our hotel and back again? What is the cost to travel that distance for each travel option? This was a really great YT video.
Just got back from 5 days (Oct 25). Just too damn hot for me. The only air conditioning for me was in my room and even my bathroom was hot. We stayed in a villa. Probably December or January would have been better for me. I'm an old guy (73) and just couldn't take the heat (actually it was the humidity 95%). Other than that is was nice.
Hi. Anyone recommend a whale watching from Boca de Tomatlan, or do they usually leave from other end? Suggestions on phone for one week? And approx cost of taxi across pedestrian bridge to Zona Romántica? Great video by the way! Thanks!
I got bit badly by no see ums in Akhumal and am a bug magnet. Are the bugs bad in PV? I am thinking about going in June 2024 and staying in a private villa next to the jungle. Thank you!
Great Video. How much is the cost of the airport taxis to Zona Romantica? Is there any particular airport taxi company that you would recommend? Thanks.
The prices are posted at the airport. There are only 3 companies and they are pretty much the same. You can find info here: aeromovilpvr.com/puerto-vallarta-airport-taxi-rates/
THANK YOU for not appearing in the video! Viewers DO NOT care to see the recorders' faces or silly antics. We only want to see the surroundings of the places visited.

How's the weather in late December?
It's perfect!
My friend went there in December. Shorts and flip flops?

Thanks!
So if I walk across the bridge to get a 20 dollar taxi. How muck more would that be at the airport?
I didn’t see the taxi fares? How much are they
I got bit badly by no see ums in Akhumal and am a bug magnet. Are the bugs bad in PV? I am thinking about going in June 2024 and staying in a private villa next to the jungle. Thank you!

Is it true that FMM is discontinued at Puerto Vallarta airport? Instead passports gets stamped and only customs form is used?
I believe the FMM has been discontinued as you say but confirmation would be appreciated.
@@jasonhill9674 they just stamped my passport in Puerto Vallarta.
