    Active d lighting set to Normal gives you much better videos even on high in hi dynamic range situations it will boost the shadows it's like an hdr video mode and is very useful if your not shoot raw.

      @@PixelfriedhofTutorials i also observed yesterday that if i turned on the electronic VR for movie, the footage looks jello. There is some wave movement. I made comparison from simply keeping the IBIS and turning on the electric VR. IBIS looked better. I decided to turn the electronic VR off after finding out. But it was worth the try after watching your video.

    Hi, when using external features on the Nikon Z6 II, can we record 10 bit in 4k 60 fps?

    I have a problem trying to get my NIKON 6ii into 4K 60 fps mode. The 60 FPS, and 50 FPS mode are greyed out, even though I am on Firmware 1.10 What do I need to change in the settings to be chosen ?

    • @TechWeLove

      I forgot that my Elgato Cam Pro is maxed out at 4K 30 fps, and that's why the other options cannot be selected.

      Hi Aritra,
      thanks for the compliment!
      Since today I own the Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm 2.8.
      The 24-70's have always been my top choice for video. But I love that lebs in particular because of it's very low focus noise. Go here and see my latest video for this: Comparing Focus Noise: Nikon Z-Mount Nikkor 24-70 vs. Sigma 24-70 with FTZ-adapter - quiet vs loud!

    Hi - Just tried my first video of a very intense lightning storm in the evening. I used a Z6ii with the settings given in the video and a Nikon 14-24 lens. The only thing I can not remember is if I had it set to manual. Also, I use back button focus. That said I noticed that the camera kept refocusing while it shot the video. I noticed this too happened while shooting with my cell phone. Any ideas what caused the refocusing? The sudden changes from light to dark? Or, did I neglect a setting? Thank you!

      Yeah, try setting Focus mode to AF-S instead of AF-C or AF-F. Should solve the problem.

    Why would you recommend 1/60 as a shutter speed when in Europe? Unless you only shoot outside I would stay away from that setting

    • @PixelfriedhofTutorials
      @PixelfriedhofTutorials  2 года назад

      I guess with „Europe“ you try to refer to the main power grid and some effects that can cause image interference depending on if the power grid runs on 50 or 60 Hz, right?
      Ok, I try to explain why this doesn't matter at least for me.
      Here in Germany the power grid runs on 50 Hz. If you have a classic lightbulb and you shoot with 1/60 shutterspeed you get flickering. So far you are right.
      Nowadays classic lightbulbs are quite rare. LED is the new normal. LED drivers are transforming power before letting energy hit the Diode. This leads to strange effects, that differ from device to device. I've seen transformed LEDs flicker at 30p or at 25p, allthough the power grid was always 50 Hz. If I film video and notice a flickering in the viewfinder, I change the shutterspeed so little that flickering stops but 1/60 is my default starting point. Why?
      Because I see my video from the viewers perspective. 30p or 60p is standard and gives best results and wide acceptance in editing. I want the production to later to run in smooth 30p or 60p everywhere in the world.
      I can easily integrate 2 shots of 1/50 because of anti flicker into a 30 minute 60p video without anyone noticing it.

    • @noordstede6408
      @noordstede6408 2 года назад

      @@PixelfriedhofTutorials that makes Some sense. The 50 hz power grid is exactly why i responded to your video, which is great by the way. Never experienced this phenomenon of the Led lights myself but must admit i occassionally change the shutterspeed of my camera to eliminatie flicker. But mostly 1/50 increments though
