All what you said can apply to any Island in the Canaries ( I know I've bee to all 8 )and I think it is unfair to single out Fuerteventura, an Island I've been to about 20 times. The simple answer is do your research before you go wherever you go!.

    Great video!
Problem is; even if you can drive, the money saved by going to Lidl is spent on a car rental...

If you spend a little money you have the time of your life on fuerteventura. Have stayed in Corralejo several times and it's amazing. If you want to save money stay home :)

Never had a problem with public transport on Fuerteventura. 50 euro note to pay ... get real.

I will gladly reinvest income from this channel into gear and new destinations if people ask for more honest reviews or experiencing places they'll probably never see in their lifetime. Otherwise there is no point really and I have many other hobbies to feed 😃 So subscribe - like- comment, it is all free for you!

Imagine for a second that many customers bring 50 euro bank notes to a bus driver. How much petty cash does s/he need to have to attend all those customers? It's pretty unreasonable to expect them to have as much cash. You have to split large bills for this kind of small transactions (across most of the Eurozone). The key is to withdraw odd numbers, like 30, 70 or 130. Some bank ATMs even offer whether you would like large or small bills. (And besides, my dear Swedish friends, we miss you in the Eurozone... it will save you all those ATM fees and booster trade!... :-)

Oh god, 😅😅😅 the driver was kind enough to change your 50 euros with his own money and give you a good advice on always bringing some change and you get so obnoxious and self-rigtheous. Yes, not everywhere cards are accepted, get used to it, what a shock.

If they don't accept cards, they should be able to accept cash and return change in their OWN currency without any comments whatsoever. It is a business and they are the ONLY operator on the market.
