@@Hollywood88877 can I reply..? If you're burning carbs with regular sit ups and pres ups at 100 a time Increasing carbs will be burnt off but you should be eating protein foods and "healthy" fats too. You need a healthy balanced diet. Protein, Fat and carbs are fuel. You won't be gaining body fat if you are exercising like 100 sits and pushes and running and swimming. You'll be burning fat but, but, you won't burn fat if you stuff yourself with carbs because you will burn the carbs first. But, but you need some, not much, carb to start the fat burning process. If you are going at it like a basket, you be using carb initially in your body - you need carbs or you will feint. Faint? Feint? Fkit!
Fats are NOT bad. But, if you are a fat basket and you want to lose that dumpy stuff then minimum carbs find out how much is minimum then carry on burning your fats;with exercise all that gym shit and eating protein, fats, fats, not sugars.
If you burn more than you eat you lose weight. If you eat more than you burn you gain weight.
Your body at rest if you are a male needs around 2,000 calories a day.
So if you are working out you need a lot more, your tummy will tell you.
Your stomach is like soft elastic - if you stuff it constantly full of food you will be forever hungry, like a dog.
If you starve, try not to, but if you eat way too little, your stomach will shrink, when it dies this, it is hard for you to eat too much.😊 but try to avoid this. I lasted 40 days on tea and coffee don't do it, it will try to drop you.
Fat is NOT bad if you burn it off. It is 👍 healthy food.👍👋🌄🌞
Sugar is crap, you can live without it but it will give you energy, but so will bananas...
MINIMAL carbs is needed to kick start the fat burning process. When the body needs fuel it will look around and seeing not sugar it will start to burn your fat for energy. If, you, don't, exercise but be a couch potato then you will have very little need for fat so any excess food you eat will go into long-term storage in your body called, FAT. And you become a fat basket!
Sugar is unnecessary except in an emergency sugar is natural speed ( well it's processed)
Sugar is generally not good for you.
Carbs produce sugar in your body which is used to power your body - when this readily available sugar gets too low (yayy!)!then the body starts to burn fat 👍
Anything you eat produces sugar in your body Anything and Everything.
Unburnt carbs or sugar turn, to, fat. Without enough carbs the body reverts to using fat for fuel, this is very 👍😊 good!
Remember, you can burn protein, fat, sugar.
Unless it's an emergency don't try to live off sugar, that would give you diabetes Type 2.
So small amount of carbs, find out how much.
      Then burn off the fat.
CAVEAT:WARNING: If, if you burn way too much fat and energy and fking starve yourself in the process, you will certainly lose weight but you will also start to burn muscle first before fat!! Flesh! This is because your body needs the protein which you are not giving it because you are either starving or going way to heavy on your diet.......not good....👎
This is often the result of a crash diet - then you have another job of replacing the muscle, this, I believe is through gym and proper recommended food 🥑🥝.
Having depleted muscles is not a good thing, for obvious reasons. You heart is a muscle so avoid muscle atrophy.
If you drink loads of water you will suddenly lose belly fat but do this over a week to 10 days only and don't be exercising or keep it small during that time. Don't forget , if you drink loads of water you are also flushing away vitamins, minerals, which is why you lose the fat, the body is getting desperate yet feeling full. If you do this during COVID the fact that the body is in a major battle with the COVID and is calling in ground and support too means that this fat burning process is exaggerated. Bye bye belly fat. But, if it does not work in 10 days then get back to your normal diet.
Trans fats are bad 😞 they come from fried foods but, but you can burn them off just like you can burn off Any shit providing you work hard in the gym, out on the field etc. etc.
      Protein foods.
As you sleep amino acids create spirals of protein which then take off around your body repairing muscles 💪
So thats why you train, and eat protein.
Hydration is king. Don't drown yourself but drink plenty of water. At least a couple of litres a day. It's, critical🤕
Smoking alcohol drugs, forget all that shit. Am not saying don't socialise am saying don't make it part of your diet.
Socialise. Balance the work you do with the play you like try to have friends, buddies, or luvverz and normal fking life man, balanced off against hiding in the effing nature.... because one, helps, the other.
Good healthy diet. Meat is good any meat. Not bacon. Not pork, much. Chicken is good, pastrami,
      Good hydration.
      Good healthy exercise.
      Walking is good.
      Running is good.
*Things which will make you fat fast.
Eating and slouching on the couch.
Sitting on Social Media for hours (extremely bad for you - do this for 3 months and, you die...)
      Eating a meal before bed.
      Pints of beer,
      beer before bed.
      No exercise.
Snacking all day AND eating THREE meals a day. (Do one or the other but not both)
      Killer foods
Baked goods (you like pizza? Sorry)
      Cakes but in moderation
      Cookies but in moderation
      Processed foods🙊
Boxed meals😟. If you eat these once you ain't gonna die overnight but you don't want to live on this food forever.
(Not K-rats 24 hr rations these are good and necessary and worked out by all those qualified nutritionists back at camp)
      Good luck Hollywood.

I bet you went through this too!

As a young Marine getting ready for the Force Recon Endoc, I developed a mantra for training. “Keep going, don’t quit.” As I ran up the hills at Pendleton, this kept me going. I averaged out 3rd in an Endoc group of 16. That was just one day, but I have used it ever since. Quitting is a foreign concept now.

Gotta find yourself and do a self ego check and can’t lie to yourself for sure. And sometimes yourself has to challenge itself . Like when ya might think “ there’s no way I can do this , let alone again. “ Or when ya say “ I love this shi! , is that it? I want more . ? (Even though ya really may not ) . But if ya really want it ,and have to ,and dig deep . Especially when ya see other guys dropping or quitting . Similar to let’s say fighting( martial arts, boxing , Muay Thai , etc)
If ya have ever went to learn or train . Ya know it’s huge just to go try . Not saying becoming a ufc champ . But just checking your own ego . How many times have ya seen guys come in , and then they’re 1 & done. Lots of times big guys. But it’s that coming back and learning and lasting a lil longer or taking longer to tap . Or learning head movements , etc. . When crap gets tough and/or hard conditions I don’t sit back and think how sad or sorry I am for myself or why I have to do something . I do it pumping myself up saying “ oh ya! I love this shi!, is that it? I wanna do more and daily . When others will think “ hell no! You’re crazy . And they’ll stop . Drop out. Or say before even trying “ no way”. Hell, they’ve already mentally beat themselves . Without trying. Big, small. Whatever ya are . Ya gotta know ya got that much more to do or use what ya have to be the best ya can be. And nothing is a better motivator than someone telling ya you can’t. Use that as fuel .
I got a stupid joke saying when someone has an excuse. I call em Eric . For Eric Excuses. They’ll always try to say why this happened or didn’t . And then they don’t know what it means. lol. And if female I call em Erica. As joke usually to myself.
And if I screw up or don’t come through I just take responsibility . And make changes. Slow is better than stop. 💯

Nobody has addressed the question of the legality of American citizens joining foreign militaries. And the answers are not clear, and one should consider the implications. I did not join the US Army out of a sense of patriotism, altruism, or any of the above. I grew up in a military family and I wanted to do cool stuff and play with cool toys. And I did that. And you know what? The US military wasn't my primary choice to be a badass combatant. It was the Rhodesian Foreign Legion. I was technically too young to have joined it at the time. Not technically, I was.
When I joined the Army (I was infantry) I professed to some of my compatriatists that I signed up to kick ass and take names and, well to kick ass. And that the US Army was a secondary goal.
They hated me. They thought I was fighting against my own country. I still live with that today.
Have you thought about the implications of your American citizenship serving with a foreign military?

You're doing good work brother. I had a meeting down in Ft Bragg back in the mid-2000's (funny enough it was with Goggins ) . IF the military ,. especially the Special Operations , Special Forces Community had their shit together ? The best of the best Operators need to start spotting the good soldiers coming up the Pipeline and train them directly . It is almost NON existent . You cant win wars blowing off and shitting on the youth . Train them right ,. make them tough ,. train in agility ,. stretch , eat right,. stay SINGLE,. you can go a long way .

Just subscribed to your channel. I really admire your ability to describe your shortcomings and more importantly how you overcame them. That warriors like you walk among us gives me hope all is not lost in this world. Best to going forward. You’re a one-man wrecking machine. Outstanding videos.

Enjoy hearing your story bud ,my path isn’t nearly the same but I’ve hit a crossroads in my life where none of my possible paths are to be taken lightly
Looking to relocate my family to northern Italy near the border from the United States and your videos have made me feel as if the journey that I’ve been fretting on aren’t actually as wild hearted as the people I’ve vented to have made it sound
Look forward to hearing the rest of your channel. Thanks

this is the best. for all of us trying to overcome adversity and truly trying to get better at something, anything no better words have been spoken. for every winner of first place there's lot's of competitors in the ranks behind him. never give up or if you do know when it's time. be good to yourself. not easy on yourself but you can always come back another day. obviously i am not on the level as you but from the bottom of my heart i thank you for telling it like it is and what it takes.

We learn more from our failures than any successes as long as we can get back up and make an assessment of the what? Why? we failed make changes and continue driving forward. Being comfortable with the uncomfortable makes us wiser and mentally strong

We are all going to have failure in life it’s something people have to learn to deal with. I tell this to kids. It’s all about growth and building up yourself in whatever way. We all see successful people in the media and it looks so easy at times, but we don’t see the numerous failures that led to the success. Important life lessons 💪

Bad runner, I feel you! Went from USN where I never ran (except to 1. Liberty Call 2. Pay & 3. Chow) to the Army where I had to run every day. Hated it (running, hated it with a passion), but adapted to it. Never give up, never quit. Despite my numerous military and civilian failures, I just picked myself up, dusted myself off, and proceeded to drive on with the mission.
