I've had my rack for a few years. Best rack ever. A couple quick tips. Not sure if that cable lock would keep the rack in the receiver if it slipped, it looks kinda long. I got some Cartman 18" tie down straps and melted a hole at the right length to put the lock shaft through. Next, get a Sharpie and mark the sliding arm side for the back tire. Always open that arm to that spot, put the bike in and then all you have to do is tighten the front arm. Also by doing it this way you know your bike is always centered. I take my rack off only when I wash my car. A quick way to take it off instead of using their wrench is to get a 8mm tamper resistant hex socket to attach to an impact driver or drill. Then keep the spare wrench in your glovebox for emergencies.
Most definitely 🤘 it’s such a simple and easy design. I was skeptical about the fact that the one up doesn’t have a thru bolt as well but their design is solid and the rack has never gotten loose on me 😁🤘

Yes the hitch lock would also work with a 2” hitch 👍 the lock attachest to the rack and not the hitch so the hitch size doesn’t matter for the lock. Hope that helps! 🤘
I'm a little older gal, not strong enough to lift my electric bike onto the rack so I need a ramp to walk my bike up. Do you know where I could get one and would it work with this bike rack? Thank you!
I have this rack in silver. Before I got it I thought about getting the $299 Costco bike rack but it is for 2" hitch and I did not want to get an 1.25" adapter. The 1up rack also has better ground clearance but if you leave the lock on it while you drive there's a chance of scraping. However that shouldn't be a problem for your truck. Funny thing about the rack is it comes with a silly 1 inch wide velcro strap that is meant to prevent the rack from falling out if the marble fails. I replaced it with a wider and thicker velcro strap.
I definitely hated how much I would scrape the rack with my Honda fit, but now that it’s on the truck it’s a lot more solid. Yeah the Velcro strap they give you isn’t the strong as I’d want it to be 😆

Do you like this better than the thule ? Only thing i don't like is it doesn't have thru pin to go through the insert of the rack and the receiver

It’s one of the best racks I’ve owned, a little pricey but definitely worth the money in my opinion 🤘🤘

You’re in luck! I checked on the 1up website and they do have what’s called a “V Style Ramp” it could be what you’re looking for. Hope that helps 😁👍

The red lock I got at Walmart and the 1up lock came with the rack👍
