bobby Miller has so much potential, every single game he played I was thinking he was gonna turn it all around and show us what he can do, but as usual every game he played he gave up around 10 runs in the first inning and crushed my spirits
as a marlins fan this how I feel about Edward Cabrera he pitches like a cy young contender for a game or two then blows up in the fourth or fifth inning and gets injured for two weeks it's been like this for like 3 years now
@@TTGamingTrinh Never seen a pitcher spiral out of control so easily. Once Miller gave up 1 run, he would fall apart and instantly give up 5 more. Dude needs a sports psychologist or something, because his mental fortitude isn't strong enough.
As a os fan kimbrel 2nd half may be the saddest worst performance by a closer in major league history his post asb era is around 12.3 they shuffled him out there about 20 more times after he lost his closer role and he got shelled nearly every time his falloff needs to be studied
Hey! .... As a Dodger fan, all of us had his running joke in 2022 that when Craig Krumble came in, it was game over..for us. At the very least, he'd load the bases or get some runners on, and or have to have someone else come in that very inning, and waste other relievers. He was a joke all year, and we were wanting him DFA'd since June! When the Phillies took him in 2023, we fans were going to Philly chats and giving our condolences. " You're gonna hate this guy! you're gonna lose a bunch cuz of him. You're NOT gonna fix anything in the playoffs with this guy anchored to the back of your Ferrari. Lol". And They were doing the same thing we dodged fans did in the off-season when the O's signed him! .... " WHY " ?! FUN FACT: We won 111games in 2022. I wouldn't call DJ's play incompetence. He just got old. There is a difference. He knows what to do, he just doesn't have the reflexes and speed to do it anymore. We need a better way to get guys with big guaranteed contracts off the field when their time comes, not just because it is lousy baseball, or because it hurts to see good players play bad, because the tenacity it takes to get to the bigs makes it hard to know when to quit, or because guaranteed money is hard to walk away from, but because any player who really shouldn't be out there (anyone with a negative WAR and who is on the far side of the age curve as a starting point) is taking a spot that could be given to a young player. A young player getting a shot at the MLB minimum salary is getting much more marginal utility out of their salary than someone with a negative WAR making $15 million for yet another year, but fans also get a better experience. Sure, lots of guys may never pan out, but hope springs eternal. I can say as a Yankee fan I'm not expecting anything more out of Lemahieu. Get him off the books and give someone else a shot.
I get that, but his 2024 represents a year of underdevelopment with the Fish, which is why I mentioned the other guys as well to show the pattern overall.
I thought Bobby Miller was gonna do well because he throws the ball pretty darn fast and has other nasty pitches! He just didn’t do good at locating the pitches! How do you guys think Bobby Miller will do in 2025?
He's young enough to catch on with a team, but not with the Dodgers. 2024 was the last year of his contract. With the return of Glasnow, Ohtani, May and Kershaw, etc. from the injured list, they should have plenty of starters especially with the signing of Snell, and the availability of Yamamoto. Miller only pitched so much because of the injuries.
@ MADE THE CUT- you forgot the bench/ utility player position? I will go ahead amd do it for ya bro: WORST UTILITY PLAYER: L A. Dodger's (ex) super Utility man- Chris Taylor! At 68 at bats, was hitting.067 ! He was hitting.130 up until August, then went up to a whooping.167 he also hit into many DP's, and lost a step on defense. Tho he still had a very accurate arm, plays most positions, and has a brain for the game. He is also very involved in the community! Nobody tries harder than him either.

This would have been a solid team at one point. Makes sense though because to be that bad and still get playing time there needs to be a decent track record
Some of these picks are brutal but fair Maldonado’s season really stands out for all the wrong reasons. Hopefully, some of these players can bounce back in 2025!
Jordan Walker might get a freepass on his offense due to him being sent up and down all season, but the defense shouldn't have suffered the way it did because of that
Jordan Walker defense sucks at RF because he's a 3rd Baseman that they threw out there without giving him any reps there. I'm pretty sure he's playing 3rd base in the minors.
162 games in a year / 3 = 54 so therefore 50 games because 1/3 of a season minimum. Better measure would be plate appearances because a pinch hit, pinch run, or defensive sub would get you a "game played" but affect the results less. Whatever, it's not like methodology is critical in this anyway.
2025 list for Pitcher: Noah Synderguard he's throwing in the high 90's again, and is concentrating fully on making a comeback. .... It wont happen. Not long anyways. He wants to go back to his former self. Like CT3, ( Chris Taylor) he won't change his game, and admit defeat. Necessity is the mother of all change.
For DH, why not Mitch Garver? His numbers last year after he shifted to mostly backup catcher were acceptable for a backup catcher, but he hit .168 at DH playing there more than half of the season.
Maldy Maldonado might be a horrible hitter, and notm much better defender, but he is thee best caller in the MLB .... and that's why he plays. He was signed to help out the poor n young Sox staff. Give em a fighting chance. I guess that didn't even work
Ummm not really sure if you can blame Nick Gordon's poor player development on the marlins given they traded Steven Okert to the twins for him just before the season
