I just hate that the phone clamp and the handle bar extender doesnt** have rubber cushion on the inside of the contact point to the handle bars…I don’t want to squeeze metal and on metal and have everything all scratched up when I remove it…
i'd also really like to know more details about how it got water damage, maybe how hard was it raining, and did you have issues like were the controls not working? or did the motor stop working? i just bought the air 2024, and i want to figure some stuff out and hear what other riders had to say. i know i have the next model for 2024, but i'd still like to know your experience. thanks a bunch (:
Had mine for 6 months. Everything is good EXCEPT on the scooter except the BATTERY. This scooter has a CHEAP battery The battery had begun to fail. Range is reduced and takes longer to charge. Only used this scooter sporadically not daily neither. DONT BUY
Great review! From my perspective this might be Apollo's most underwhelming / disappointing scooter in their line up. While the Go, City, and Phantom all do several things very well and the Pro having it's own, somewhat incomparable price point niche, the Air seems great at virtually nothing while carrying around a $900 price tag. The KQi3 max for example dominates it in all the important areas and regularly goes on sale for $749. While someone living in the UK or British Columbia might opt for the Air's higher water resistance, the Niu now has a fantastic real world track record for resistance in wet conditions. Now they've introduced the KQi 300x with front suspension and an early price tag of $829-869 depending on when you early ordered. Apollo seems to pull off this recognition for superior quality while often not being objectively better compared to other high quality scooters Niu, VMAX and Segway just to name a few. While the actual construction is among the very best, I wonder if replacing the futuristic space grey paint job with matte black would stomach punch some of the perceived superiority about the brand. As an example, they don't use the industry standard LG and Samsung cells in anything except the Pro, because they cost more... yet other manufacturers are using them. It looks and brand participation are all that matters however and everything else is "good enough" then I understand the attraction to the brand. They certainly make some of the most contemporary scooters available. Objectively speaking however, they fall behind in the categories of speed, acceleration, range and suspension sophistication. Comparing the Go to the Segway G2 Max for example the suspension feels light years ahead of the Go.
Make sure the other scooters have parts available!!! Some dealers won't sell it because of it!!!!!😮 21700 on all Apollos! Just double-check before buying them.😂
The handlebar is not at all ergonomic!!! Ride it long enough & you'll see what i mean. You're too positive. Freebies or discounted 1 from Apollo?😮. Get real man.

This scooter is not dependable. It has extremely poor water resistance. I've had two break now.
