just bought an IE V2 intercooler for my 2015 A3. I plan on using your video for install guidance. I wonder, is the a/c line removal necessary? Can't I just bend it out and away? Also, how would I go about removing the refrigerant so I don't kill myself during install lol
thanks for this super informative video Bro, I just picked up the CTS intercooler for my 18' S3....this might be too much for me to do, gonna bring it to my Indie shop. Any feedback on that intercooler? Ive read that it's one of the best especially for the price, got mine on sale for $630. Isn't this a direct replacement intercooler? Its not FMIC
Glad I could help! I love this intercooler! I'm in South Carolina where's is stupid humid and hot. It keeps my car performing even in these harsh conditions. It's a fmic, and I will say it's a tight fit.
@@boostdynamictuning oh shoot , really, ?Im in South Carolina also, near Greenville so I quickly am learning how severe heat soak really is , especially now I am stage 1 (034) My S3 usually has instant throttle response along with steady , linear power delivery , with heat soak, everything gets sluggish and it clearly does not pull as hard. Its annoying! I take my car to the guys at Vintage Auto , awesome people there.
