    Today we are giving you the DATA! We want to show you what modifications ACTUALLY give you horsepower gains! 🤩
    So, we took our Stage 1+ Full e85 2015 2.0t Audi a3, and we installed 4 modifications. A cold air intake, upgraded diverter valve, turbo inlet pipes, and last but not least a catch can. In-between each install we put this bad baby on the dyno to get those before and after data logs!

    Next job documenting the changed parts and what the measurements were. The most concerning aspect of this is the run-to-run variation for any configuration. I get a range of 14, 7, 9, 9, 7 whp. That's likely more than what any of these parts would gain, so gains from the parts swap are probably being lost in the noise. Seeing that amount of variation for changes that likely wouldn't make any difference, such as the DV and catch can, points to how much other factors are affecting the output.
    I think the intake might have been beneficial if you had a higher-flowing turbo inlet elbow.

    impressive people have said long time Stock DV is King so interesting to see gains with an aftermarket unit in any way

      Right! I didn't think the dv of all parts would help power. Glad to have a dyno to prove the results of modifications. Hope this video shed some light on the topic.

      @@boostdynamictuning honestly it shows intake, DV, and charge pipes are obsolete. At least at IS20 levels. I would skip is38 just simply because it’s so over done. Idk. Maybe reach out to EQT and see if they will sponsor you an IS38+ and then maybe do a Vortex XL and test results. But man the amount of work to constantly switch parts would be extensive

      @@RevolutionMods thank you for the recommendation. I don't do sponsorships. Don't take it personally when I say that. I'm a pave my own way kind of person. Also I already have a turbo manufacturer that can make any turbo I wish. I'm going in stages, so next is is38 as I have a stock block. Then I'll be moving to big turbo. This is a documentary of the mqb platform, so I can't skip stages.

    I am driving A3 2.0 2015. I have done my exterior mods so far, but I'd like to know what would be the start of tune up for gaining horsepower with reasonable costs. If you can share and do some A3 modification video, that would be awesome ( I wish :) ) Thanks!
