Try adding 2 gallons of e85 , wait a day and retest.. low 12s guaranteed.. I've been running e30 in my apr stage 1 for 4 years.. no issues. Pulls like an animal from 0-100 beats most cars around 450hp.. such an efficient platform!
You have a A3 8V? 🔥
@@n54addict35 yup
@@tdubz350 what mods do you have done to your A3?
@@n54addict35 turbo inlet , Apr stage one original file. And torque limits coded out of dsg
What do you mean torque cap ? Whats this ?
12.5 on 93 stage 1 is great! I ran a 12.1 on e85 stage 2 but it was really warm out in California
I assume you have the black edition package? If not, a link to your honeycomb grill/bumper would be appreciated 🙏🏽
I’m hesitant to tune my car, but these results are enticing.
Thats what im saying, half of me wants to just save up for an S3 but the other half wants to tune my A3 so badd
What was the 0-60
Have a ‘15 A3 2.0T TFSI as well. BONE stock lol. How does the tune work? Through a Cobb AP? also what’s needed to be done to run e85?
If you plan on doing a stage 2 tune on this car I'm sure we would all love to see a video on it! If not whats the estimated WHP for one of your stage 2 tunes?
Just finished stage 1 full e85 last night. I should have stage 2 dyno numbers next week.
@@boostdynamictuning awesome! Will your state 2 tune require e85 or can it be run on 93?
@@charliecannistraci2175 both options will be available.
@@boostdynamictuningWhat was your stage 2 1/4 mile time? Your stage 1 is faster than my stage 2.
@albertmasi9021 I have a stage 2 video posted on my page :) my tune is legit. Not some ots stuff.
I have a 1.8 tfsi which is 177 bhp and 250 nm ans 180lb ft with a stage 1 map it gives you around 230/240 bhp and 380 nm
So you mean that all the tuners out there (EQT, 034 motorsport, IE, APR, unitronics) are a bit optimistic with their dyno result?
100%. I'm not saying I'm right with everything I say,but tell me this. If everyone dyno tunes cars, why are they ALL posting crank horsepower? Because with crank horsepower, you are taking your number and adding 15%-25, which makes zero sense. Simply, everyone should be using a hub dyno as hubs are always going to read very similar numbers. That's why manufacturers use hub dynos. It's a marketing tactic, and I'm here to spread good info. Not fake my numbers, so you guys give me your money. I make people happy and enjoy their car, not scam people. View this message how you want, but do your research on crank horse power vs hub dyno numbers. Only way to truly get crank numbers which doesn't even matter as you have driveline loss... is to remove the engine and install in a dyno room. Which means applying a load which will never be correct. As you could simply leave drive line attached and make your tuning adjustments. Idk... seems very plain as day to me. I can back this up with schooling as well.
how can it be faster than a stock s3 with less hp from your tune
S3 numbers are crank numbers that you're referring to. If you want hub numbers, look at my stock golf r videos. Those are the nunbers you're looking for. Actual WHEEL/HUB numbers. Not numbers you Google online. That's why my a3 is faster. It's simple, no bs going on here. don't even push boost to crazy numbers to even hit these numbers. I can make it faster, but stage 1 is meant for reliability. Not setting a record.
Have you done a tune on a 1.8t a3?.. and have any pulls or videos?.. just purchased a 15 a3 1.8t and iam interested in what you can get out of a 1.8t fwd
100% have tuned multiple a3's with the 1.8t. Lmk I can get you setup with one of our tunes!
@@boostdynamictuning nice what would be the most power to get out before going internal.. I have now since last post lowered with h&r springs and install cts turbo intake and cts turbo inlet
Nice!!
Nice! Is that awd or just front? I figured front with the engine sideways, but damn, 12.56 in the quarter is pretty damn good! Usually it takes about a 1:10 power to weight ratio to run roughly 12.5 in the quarter, so that's impressive!
Right! I was shocked myself when I saw the numbers. Thanks for watching the video and being supportive
fwd biased haldex quattro
I don’t know too much about stages but can you use regular fuel?
We offer options for 91 octane and 93. I tune based off what you tell me. So if you tell me this is done at this moments I will make a tune based off of that.
What's the mph at 1/8, 1/4. What was the DA?
is this tune for a3 s line premium plus quattro?
The class doesn't matter. It's for an audi a3 2.0t Quattro setup. I tune 1.8t fwd as well
would my FWD 2.0T make similar numbers at stage 1? I cant find anything on my exact car on youtube
100% you might even see higher gains as you have less driveline resistance.
@@boostdynamictuning wow thats insanely exciting, have you seen a FWD with the results or just assuming? either way Im excited to find out.
@@masonmcewen8353 I put my car in fwd mode, gained 10hp. Verified
@@boostdynamictuning damn😳 thanks for the info!
@@boostdynamictuning sorry one more question I have no idea what my 0-60 will be, have you tried doing one while in fwd mode? If not that would be a good video comparison..
I would want to chip the Audi A4 40tfsi quattro 190hp stock. Stage 1 should be about 260hp. But is the engine still reliable after that?
Don't see a reason it would but unreliable.
Usually it takes 200whp gain to be unreliable
@@boostdynamictuning Yeah true but you hear some stories of people blowing engines. Thats what gets me worried.
Do you have a dsg tune on this ad well or just an ecu tune
Tcu tune was on at the time I believe, it's been a minute.
Is this a 2.0 or the 1.8 tfsi ?
2.0t
Gas
Is this Fwd or Awd?
Awd
