This is a good point in the Mega Man history, although it's not official. I see comments "Bass throws met" in Bass shop music from MM10 videos.
Also, I watch 2008 version sometimes but it is hidden now (fortunately I liked that video so I can watch it altough it is hidden :)

It would be neat to have a Megaman game with ALL the powers.
At least smash bros is a mix of his powers and it feels like a Megaman game in smash run
Imagine trying to switch powers by pausing the action and scrolling through a list of over 80 of them. Plus eight for the current set of bosses. Having all your weapons at once is awesome in theory, but a pain in practice.
You probably wont use more than 4 of them either way.... Unless the game somehow forces you to use all of them.
Ian Comtois Mega Man: The Wily Wars had a segment of the game where you chose 10 powers from Megaman 1-3. Also the recent fan-game, Mega Maker, allows you to do a similar thing, although with certain powers from the first 6 games

According to the mega man 11 gallery, dr. Wily had some budget problems when building mawverne’s shield, so he only made 1 with a power gear. Therefore, he wouldn’t be able to make an invincible met boss.

Imagine if you went for a walk and saw a fighting robot who attempted to destroy a hard hat for 5 minutes, and later another robot appeared and made the hard hat go away, which causes the first robot to explode from his own stupidity.
I would not want to be a civilian walking by when Mega Man heaped all those bombs on the Item 2 platform. That would probably be fatal...unless I was a Met hiding in my hat.

I made a few minor fixes to the animation, but it was mostly just to add weapons from MM10. The 2008 version already included MM9 weapons.

I think the funniest part is whenever Mega Man thinks he's beaten that Mettroll (trolling Met enemy), he turns around to do the title screen pose, so the Met goes offscreen, so it respawns! A super fighting robot's work is never done.
