Great video Anton! It can be so disheartening working on these cars. You fix one thing only to discover something else that needs fixing. It’s hard to stay motivated but it makes it all worth it when you drive them. Looking forward to seeing this one on the road👌🏻

Thinking of doing this on my MK4 GTI, is there any guides or anything that helped in particular, I’ve got a parts list and a few good bits of info but anything helps. Who coded your ECU to auto or did you fit an auto ECU?
Not that I know of mate My engine and box are a direct swap from the TT DSG 3.2 I used the TT ecu and pulled all the DSG wiring from the car Was only around 10 wires if that Had the immo taken off to be able to start it then it’s getting coded back in to the R32 key and clocks

Did the mk4 r32 come with black headlining and pillars if so need to slap them in the as the interior is looking serious
The r32 didn’t in the UK only the anniversary, the Anni is only a 3 door though so will not work
Having a problem with my speedo, it keeps jumping. What did you use as a speed sensor?
I used all the parts from the TT nothing special but tbf I haven’t even checked if the speedo works 😂
