Big up yourself Anton for saving another r32 from the scrapyard. We need to keep as many of these on the road as possible! Can’t wait to see this car done.
I agree mate, I’m trying to make up for the ones I killed haha.

Just dsg swapped my 1.8T octavia vrs mk1 5 months ago and it's been runing great
all most all the mk4 platform cars can be dsg swapped that includes golf mk4 audi a3/s3 8l audi tt seat leon 1m skoda octavia mk1 it doesn't matter if it is 4motion or not the only exception to this is if your car is born with a cable throttle body this will not work as the ecu is too old and cannot communicate with the dsg you can use a dsg/gear selector form the newer cars golf mk5/mk6 audi a3/s3 8p seat leon 1p skoda octavia mk2 they will bolt directly in sometimes you need to swap the axel cups on the dsg and then you can use the 6 speed drive shafts from mk4 golf all you need then is to splice some canbus wires in to the ecu and flash the ecu to be an automatic and you're off
J&R drive shafts from experience are just like a chinese copy for a premium price. I've had some for my 1.8T, they lasted me for around 14 months until the passenger side gave up. They rust rapidly as well hence the price. Anyway got some for my MK4 R32 three years ago for the front as the OEM boots had gone, ran them for two months and long and behold the boots on both sides split as my R32 is lowered and in addition they had surface rust appearing with just two months of being on the road. Utter garbage, avoid at all costs. Just rebuild an OEM driveshaft and have a smile on your face:)
I know it's not your thing but a 4wd r32 scirocco would be killer. Another nice video though 👍
Thank you mate I’m a scirocco fan for sure
Good to see an update on the DSG R32 project Anton. Cool that you solved the driveshaft issue too. Car is really coming on (does look better with the sideskirts on for sure 👍🏻). Look forward to you getting the interior in & part 5. Nice 1 for putting out another vlog mate 👊🏻
amazing vid as usual...love your work (no you're not rambling on an on...we like to hear what you are going thru and where your mindset is)
Thank you mate, I think I just get sick of my own voice when editing 😂
Loving the journey bro, you crack me up man saved a R32 but scrapped a TT 🤣 👊🏾
Haha R.I.P TT
ive been waiting for this one!!
Still rocking the crocs mate.
Haha always!
Is it possible to mount the inner joints of the manual switch gearbox on the DSG shafts?
Awesome
Swear I have one the pumps you need in engine bay? In the garage from my old mk4? I'll check for you
I may do this to my mk1 cupra R not many dsg on a cupra r
I don’t think I’ve ever seen one
Hello Anton. I have a brand new Genuine VW R32 DSG steering wheel, though without the alloy paddles. Would you be interested in the wheel? Thx.
Hi mate, I have a brand new one with the paddles, thank you though
I spent ages trying to find a set of the aluminium paddles for my Mk1 Audi TT 3.2, and in the end my only option was to buy a new R32 steering wheel! I got mine from a classic VW parts supplier in Germany - the only one available that I could find searching online! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get yours from? They really are like hens teeth!! Your projects are fascinating and great to follow - thank you. Best regards. Antony
